Aryn sat up and looked over at Tania discussing the new coworker. Amanda sounded familiar - as she remembered seeing some files on Tan's desk with the name.
"A month ago and she's now here? Are you even sure you want to hire her now? Where's her desk going to be?" Nick asked too much, and Tania was about three seconds away from hanging up on him. "Listen, Nick, just get her settled in. I left a empty desk for her. I'll be back tomorrow." Tania sighed, annoyed as hell now, and before Nick even responded - she hung up and almost slammed her phone down on the coffee table in front of the two. "Everything alright?" Aryn asked, scooting closer to Tania. "Nick is a bloody idiot but other than that, I'm fine, I promise." Tania reassured her pastel haired girlfriend, and sighed.
"Well, that's nothing new." Aryn rolled her eyes.
Tan laughed.
