Daryl's pov

The fog rolled over the forest making it hard to navigate his way back to Alexandria, he tripped over roots and branches but didn't once come across a walker. He was thankful for that, but it felt strange he hadn't seen any about in so long.

He stopped in front of the large gates surrounding Alexandria. He opened it - walking into the quiet town and making his way to his house very slowly.

He felt he had been followed, the feeling of being watched got stronger as he turned behind him to find the normal town, but in complete darkness. He shrugged off the feeling, taking a long walk back to his house - hoping he'd forget about the whole 'Quinn' thing.

He opened the door and walked in the save surrounding walls of his house, it was completely quiet - the only sound coming from his heavy boots banging against the wooden floor.

The feeling followed him through his journey, the crooked noise of the stairs as he walked up them didn't phase him - the door creaked open as he pushed it, falling back on his bed with a thud.

He kicked his boots off and twirled his knife with his fingers - leaving dents in his skin as he did it over and over again. But he found himself tracing the 'Q' again on his bed, he didn't really care about who done it or why. Perhaps he knew who the person was but he didn't know yet, but he smiled when ever his finger traced over the bumps of the letter.

Eventually he fell into a peaceful sleep with Quinn on his mind. Her teal her blew in the wind as they ran in the forest, he didn't know why they were running - her face look happy, her fears and hates got pushed behind her. Daryl took his eyes off her for a second to concentrate on the ground he ran on, careful not to trip over any fallen branches or overgrown roots.

As he looked back at his blue haired friend was gone - nowhere to be seen. He look around for any signs, but none came up. He looked for the bluish colour in her hair as it would be easy to spot in a place filled with Green's and Brown's but he saw nothing

He stopped dead in his tracks, spinning three times around looking in all directions. He stopped once he seen a light shining through the trees, the hanging moss turned red with blood and the single light turned into two - it was now him alone in a forest with an unknown creature looking back at him. it's dead, black eyes stared through him - almost like he was invisible and it was looking behind him.

He slowly turned around, the hairs on the back of his neck raised as he saw quinn behind him. Her eyes closed and her chest pulling towards the figure in the forest. She floated in the air as she looked possessed. "Daryl" she called out, get mouth not opening. "Come on Daryl"

As he began to wake up he heard his name being called over and over again. "Daryl, get up" he felt an object getting thrown at him - his white pillow lay beside him as he sat up. Rick stood at the doorway threatening to throw another pillow "Come on, if we want to do this run we need to do it now" he said as he started walking put the room

Daryl thought about the dream he was slowly forgetting the small details about. He wondered why it was about Quinn, it look like she was dying. Did she really make that much of an impact in my life? Daryl thought as he got ready. Perhaps she was but there was no way Daryl was ever going to admit it.

After He was ready he walked down the Creaking stairs in his house and opened the wooden door out into Alexandria. The air was fresh as he made his way over to Rick, he stood next to the car they were going to make the trip in.

"Where we goin'?" Daryl asked him as they drove down the road - not long after leaving Alexandria.

"I saw a farm not that far away. Maybe something there?" Rick told him as Daryl nodded, resting his feet up on the dashboard. Leaving dirty foot marks on the plastic. Rick didn't care much as the whole car was already dirty anyway.
