Lafayette thumbed their necklace in hand, and smiled down at it. They had been waiting for this moment their entire life. He was about to go meet up with his soulmate, Hercules, and they were, needless to say, very excited. Lafayette was about to leave, and was in their room fixing themselves in the mirror when they heard the lock on their apartment door click.
Lafayette looked over their shoulder, then brushed it off as it stayed silent. They continued to fix their hair in the mirror, inspecting their make up one last time before turning and walking out into the living room.
"Hey, Gilbert." Someone said from behind them. Lafayette whipped around, squeaking quietly. The figure leaning on the back wall made their skin crawl. "What do you want, Lee?" Lafayette asked, clearly not amused as the man standing in front of them DID break into their apartment. Lee pushed himself off the wall, and strode over to them. Lafayette made a feral sound, in the back of their throat, standing taller to seem more threatening. Lee chuckled, a slowly brought a hand up, running over the soulmate necklace that rested on Lafayette's chest. Lafayette's growl grew louder as Lee slowly closed his hand around the carefully intricate piece of Lafayette's necklace.
Lee looked down, at the necklace around his neck, and then back at Lafayette's in his hand. Lafayette looked down at Lee's and stranded taller. "Gilbert.. why do you continue to lie about that.... tailor being your soulmate? You deserve better..." he mumbled, his other hand thumbing over his necklace. Lafayette scowled. "You're wrong, Hercules is the most amazing human ever. Unlike you." They drew slowly. Lee's expression turned from soft to hard in an instant, and he smirked darkly. Lafayette slowly started raising their hands, as if ready to defend themselves. Lee's hand closed around the necklace once more, and jerked it. The cord snapped, and Lafayette let out a gut curdling scream.
Lee turned the necklace in his hand, as Lafayette fell to the floor, clutching their chest and gasping for breath. Their necklace, their soul, had been ripped from their body just as easily as one may cut paper with scissors. Lee walked over to the window, and with a star, Lafayette knew what he was going to do. They sprang up, and tried to run over to stop him. Lafayette tackled Lee against the open window frame, Lee's upper half out the window, his arm out stretched so the necklace was far from Lafayette's reach.
They didn't like the proximity, or how Lee's hand crept onto their waist, but Lafayette desperately needed to get their necklace back. Lee used his other hand, and made Lafayette look at him. They growled, and tried to reach for the necklace blindly. Then, almost as if in slow motion, Lee dropped the necklace. Lafayette felt as if they too were falling twenty feet down to the pavement from 9 stories up. They watched in horror, too stunned to react, as Lee pushed them back and against the wall, cornering them.
Hit tears poured from Lafayette's eyes, and they glared at Lee. Lee softly wiped the tears away, smiling politely at them. "Doesn't it feel better? To no longer have any attachments to him." Lee whispered. He cupped Lafayette's cheek, and slowly leaned down. Lafayette gagged as Lee's lips touched their's, and they recoiled back further into the corner. Lee took this as an okay, continuing to advance on the Frenchman. Once he was successfully pinned down, Lee continued to have his way. He had successfully pinned Lafayette to the floor, and Lafayette simply sobbed. Until Lee tried to wiggle the others shirt off. That was when Lafayette had had enough.
They pushed Lee back, sitting up and punching lee square in the jaw. Lee stumbled back with a shriek, holding his jaw. "Hah, stupid." He spat, advancing towards Lafayette, fists clenched. "You're going to wish you hadn't done that, (lovey name)" Lee picked Lafayette up by the collar of their shirt, and threw them into the wall. With a thud, Lafayette fell to the floor. They stood, and ran after Lee, tackling him to the floor.
