Alexander felt like vomiting. His stomach was tightening into a not with each passing second. He frantically searched his house. He threw things around: pillows, books, food. He checked his phone, seeing the message from John. He put his phone in his back pocket, running into another room to research.

Why was Alexander flipping his shit you ask? Philip had gone missing, that's why. His pride and joy, his baby boy. Missing, right out from under his nose. He ran back into the living room, having searched every room in his house.

"Philip!?" He shouted again. "Philip Hamilton we aren't playing hide in seek come out right now young man!" He felt his eyes well with tears. He isn't in the house. Outside then? He ran to the back door, searching threw every ounce of Philips treehouse, then running to the swing set. The swings swung quietly in the wind.

"Alexander!" He heard John yell. He ran back inside his house, and straight into his husband's arms. "John I don't know what happened, I went into the kitchen to take a call, he was watching cartoons, and then he was gone!" Alexander said, crying now. John just held him, shushing him.

Lafayette and Hercules were standing behind him, along with the Angelica and Peggy. Angelica looked furious, but she wasn't going to bit Alex's head off since this was a serious situation. John had said Eliza went to gather more people  and Alexander thanked them all. "Have you checked your basement?" Lafayette asked, alex shook his head. "No, Philip hates the basement with a burning passion. He'd never go down there." He said.

"Have you checked the neighborhood?" Hercules asked. Alexander shook his head. The door burst open, and everyone jumped. "Alexander where's Theodosia!?" Alex looked over at Aaron Burr. "She's missing too?" John asked. Alexander was over took by another sob, crying into his fist. John rubbed his shoulders.

"Too? Who the hell else is missing?" He asked. Aaron was shaking. He felt like a failed father. So did Alexander. "P-Philip!" Alexander cried, hugging himself with a hand over his mouth. "Both of our kids are missing!?" Aaron felt like passing out, and he seriously thought he might. He leaned against the wall in the entry hall. Alexander was crying into John's chest.

"Okay everyone. Two missing children. Theo and Philip. We're going to search every inch of this neighborhood." John said, looking around. Eliza walked up with Washington, Thomas, Madison and even John Adams just in time to hear his speech. "I'm going to divide us into three groups. We'll meet back here in 3 hours." Everyone walked outside.

"Okay. Aaron, Adams Angelica. You're going down and to the right." John said, pointing out of the court. "Hercules and Lafayette are going down and to the left. James, Thomas and Peggy are going down towards the river. Washington, Alexander and I will take the woods." He said. "Eliza, please stay here  unless they come back to the court." Eliza nodded, and went to go sit on the deck of Alex's house. The groups split up.

John led Alex and George back to the woods behind their house. They searched and searched, Alexander refusing to leave any stone unturned. "George what could've happened?" Alex whispered, leaning on his step fathers side.

George wrapped his arm around Alexander's shoulders. He kissed the top of Alexander's head. Alex crumpled into his side, sobbing. John's phone went off with  messages after about 2 hours. All from the group, all that they had found nothing on Philip or Theo.

John continued with Alexander and George however. They decided they'd split up, cover more ground. Alexander had stumbled threw the forest, yelling philip's name every now and then. His voice was hoarse  and he was dehydrated.

He slumped against a tree,  and looked at his phone.  His screen saver was Philip. Just the sight of his child made him sob harder. He clutched his knees, feeling his chest tighten. He tried to steady his breathing.
