I woke up in the same hallway I was in. A deafening alarm blasted through the corridor, and blinding red lights spun around on the walls. I quickly stood up; I was still feeling tired, but not as tired as trying out that magic. I said it once and I will say it again, definitely no more magic.

I looked around, and then opened the door of the interrogation room. Nobody was there, and it was dark except for the rapid lights spinning around the room.

How had one girl managed to pass through such security? Actually, was there even any security?

I walked down the hall which she was running in before I had passed out. There was nobody in the whole corridor, and I couldn't hear any noises coming from anywhere near me, or even above my head in the Throne Room of Spark.

I turned right and continued down the hall.

The alarm was distracting me, and I couldn't put my thoughts together. The constant BWA! BWA! BWA! reminded me of my old alarm clocks.

I continued down the hall, eager to get to the stares and come up, and learn what had happened while I was passed out.

So I started running toward the stairs at the edge of the hall. The constant noise of my feet hitting the metal ground were all blurred out by the loud alarm. I finally reached the set of steps and ran up it as quickly as I could.

The Throne Room was also totally empty.

Where had everybody gone? A frightening feeling of the Cursed actually winning over this Realm, too sent a chill down my spine.

I observed the area, moving slowly, in case of any surprise attacks. I looked out of the enormous window on the side of the wall to see what had happened. Techaract itself looked intact (Techaract, intact... ah... rhymes). There seemed to be no ghostly, flying warships or any war on the outskirts of the main city.

So where had everyone gone?

I carefully looked back to the City of Techaract, and saw that it was still full of life. Flying cars moved around, trying to find their destinations, which gave me some hope: The Cursed didn't invade, yet. But that also meant that something happened to all of my friends, and the King of Techaract.

I stepped backwards in confusion and thought and then suddenly fell down. Not like, tripped over fell down. I fell down. Like into the floor.

A trapdoor opened up below me as I stumbled backward down a set of stairs, saying "Ow!" each time I hit a step, then finally fell down into a blue carpeted, black walled hallway. There sure were a lot of hallways in this place.

I got up and brushed my hand on my back, attempting to brush off dust even though the stairs looked shiny. I walked down the hall again (oh, boy) the alarms still blaring, but there were none in this hall. I just heard the muffled alarms from upstairs.

I took a left, then a right, then a slight slope down, then another left and finally arrived at my destination. The blue carpet ended into a stone floor, and the black marble walls also became stone. And cells.

I had just creeped into the prison of Techaract.

Normally, when I think of an extraterrestrial prison, I think of monsters sticking their hands out in an attempt to escape, screaming and banging their heads on the metals of the cell door, trying to use extraordinary powers to break out as a team.

I was very disappointed when I actually saw what it looked like.

It looked like a regular prison, with less racket. As I started walking by them, the prisoners made no sound. I could see them in their cells, but they were calm and contained, not even fighting or talking with their cellmates.

I continued walking forward-- not sure why-- but it felt like there was something at the end. Then I heard the ruckus. I heard a mixture of girl and boy voices, all screaming at each other. As I got closer, I saw that a few of the prisoners in their cells were covering their ears because of the loud noises of the quarrel.

I started running towards it.

When a blue hooded figure, her back facing me, appeared into my vision, I instantly stop running.

From my distance I could make out the faces of all of my friends, and Spark all in separate cells.

The girl was yelling at them to be quiet, and as she said that I wondered why I couldn't hear them from the hall of the interrogation room.

Lukas caught sight of me and his eyes widened, but I put my index finger to my lips to tell him to also be quiet.

He nodded and looked back at the girl.

I started tip-toeing towards the girl. I didn't know what I would do once I reached her, but it felt right to do something rather than stand there and watch her demanding my friends to "SHUT UP, OH MY GOSH!"

I brought all of my focus together, and observed the wind. It was very weak. How were the prisoners living in here? I could barely make a focused wind cloud without sucking away all of the air from the room.

I had to think of another solution.

Magic was not an option. I couldn't use my powers. I didn't have a weapon.

I was outnumbered even though we were both one person. She had magic, and the power of darkness on her side. I had pretty much nothing.

Then I saw a button on the wall next to her, but it was too close, so I had to be quick when pressing the button. It wrote "RELEASE PRISONERS" on a label under it.

It was red-- obviously-- and I knew it was a bad idea to press it because one, it was red and two, I would release all of the evil criminals in Techaract. But it was my only choice. Maybe if I released all of them, I would have the chance to push the girl outside in all of the frenzy and use my powers there.

The girl turned around and saw me.

She instantly tackled me and pushed me away from the button, shrieking. "You can't do this! I was so close! You're going in with your friends!"

There was a fire in her eyes that wasn't there before. This girl wasn't herself, even though I had only talked to her for about five minutes. Her purple eyes glowed pinker and brighter.

"You can't!" she gave me a hard slap on the face.

I pushed her off of me and got up.

"What are you doing?! This isn't you! What's wrong?!" I screamed. I knew she had tried to kill my friends and I a second ago, but maybe that wasn't her. Maybe...

She threw a blast of dark energy in my direction.

I dodged it and ran at her. I tackled her to the ground and desperately looked for her hands. I found one and pulled her glove off.

I stumbled away and got up.

"NO!" she screamed, but I threw the glove on the ground and stepped on it, breaking the crystal.

She stopped running and put her hand on her forehead, and leaned forward. While she was distracted I ran toward her hand other hand and grabbed the glove. I ripped the crystal away from the glove this time and ran behind her.

Before she could react, I threw the second glove on the ground and stepped on it. A purple, translucent, gassy... thing came out of it. It was shaped like a blob.

It flew upward, but as it passed me, it said "I will be back," before disappearing into the ceiling
