At first I just kind of stood, watching the two fight each other, as Stromo charged into Glacia every once in a while for support. I honestly didn't know what to do this time.

Glacia yelled and launched an ice bolt which flew straight towards my chest but my wind reflex thing helped me dodge it. After that, I decided to take action.

Mia was slashing at Glacia from all sides, but it seemed as if the cuts were just disappearing after a while.

Mia made a wide arc on Glacia's back, which made the Legend wince and then let out a hysterical laugh. Judging by Mia's expression, the wound had healed and had no effect at all.

"What did I tell you?" Glacia laughed as she turned around and kicked Mia in the stomach with her cowboy boot.

Mia doubled over and then received another kick to the back, making her sprawl onto the floor.

I used the wind to form fists like I had in the arena, prior to this battle, but only this time they were smaller. I moved my right fist towards the left, and then Glacia's face jerked to the left.

My air fists had worked.

I did the same with my left hand, acting as if I was boxing a punching bag, but had nothing in front of me. All of my shots collided with Glacia, but after each of them, she didn't seem that affected.

I swung left, then right, then I did an uppercut.

They all hit her, and she doubled over. Stormo started to charge her, when she got up and started laughing again. She opened her right hand towards Stormo.

My eyes widened and I tried to get in between the witch and my pet, but I was too slow.

"Stormo, no!" I screamed as I dove toward the blast.

A powerful bluish-white beam shot out of her hand, literally shaking the air around it, and throwing me back about five feet. The beam connected with Stormo, and he let out a sorry, hurtful shriek as its chest started to get covered in ice.

"NO!" I reached my hand at him, but nothing happened.

Stormo gave me one more sad look before his face turned into ice as well, and then he just stared at me, with the same sad expression.

My insides burned. I felt sweaty in the cold atmosphere due to Glacia's aura.

I got up.

"What's wrong, dear?" she smiled. "You can join them in Aspenbarrow after a while. After all, they'll get frostbite and die in the end."

So my friends couldn't help me fight a Legend in her superpower days, and now I was timed in doing that!

Yay.

I needed a weapon. No matter where it came from.

"Catch!" Mia yelled from behind Glacia, and I saw a shiny metal spin toward me, slicing the underarm of Glacia.

I quickly threw out my hand.

I grabbed the covered hilt of a double-edged broadsword which shone in the sunlight. The blade was made of a silver colored metal (maybe some sort of magic steel, I didn't know) and as soon as I took hold of it, turquoise and white runes appeared on the blade.

It let out a bunch of blue and white light as it somehow adjusted to my hand.

"Hello, master Leon," the sword said.

I almost dropped it due to surprise.

"You can... you can talk?" I managed.

No reply.
