Chapter 13: Welcome

"Welcome Ms. Diaz. You can si-", the teacher starts.

"Oh I want to sit there", she points to the seat next to me.

"U-um... but some is seated there"

"She could just move can't she?", Julieta walks down the aisle to the desk next to mine, "Can't you?", she smiles.

"Y-yeah. I c-I can move.", the girl stands, grabs her stuff, and shuffles away.

The teacher clears her throat and continues explaining what we're working on for the day, ignoring what just happened.

I look over at Julieta to see that she's looking at me too. "Welcome to town", I smirk. She smiles and gets to work.

I work like normal throughout class and don't even get a chance to say anything else to her. After the bell sounds, fangirls close in around her so I just head off to class. She's not in my remaining morning classes either.

"Sup Sam", I say as I join her at the lunch table.

"Hey Kade. Did you hear about the new student? She's a descendent."

"Yeah I heard. She's also my one night stand from Saturday."

"Wait...couldn't that mean that she came here for you?", Em says plopping down her tray in excitement.

"No way...", I smile.

"Is Kade getting embarrassed?", Beck says as she sits down, "What're you guys talking about that has her looking like that?"

"Noth-"

"The descendent", Sam interrupts.

"Who's also Kade's hot fling!", Em adds.

"You mean she moved here for you?", Beck asks me, "Is your vagina made of gold or something?"

"No way. Why do you guys keep saying that? There's no way she came here for me."

"Excuse me.", we turn to the direction of the voice. I gasp. It's Julieta.

"Can I talk to Kaideen for a moment?"

"Sure. Go on Kaideen", Em teases.

"Shut up Em", I get up and follow Julieta to a nearby tree.

"Yeah?"

"Um...I know this is weird but I'm not trying to be a stalker or anything. I just...I just really want to like get to know you. Uh...", she laughs, blushing and my heart skips a beat.

I smile at how adorable she's being, "It's okay. I don't feel like you're a stalker. I'm... To be honest I'm actually glad that you're here."

"Really?", she giggles, "Then um...would you...b-be my girlfriend? I mean just to see if you like me. It's just you're so hot, I want to get you before anyone else does. Not that you're just a prize to me. I mean you are but not only-"

I pull her close and push my lips onto her's. Not just a peck this time. I slide my tongue against her lips and she let's me enter. I feel heat shoot up through my body and my heart pounds like a drum. I inadvertently whimper when she pulls away.

We pant as we stare at each other for a moment.

"So?", she asks.

"So what?", I croak out.

"Will you...", she goes to whisper in my ear, "...be mine?"

I bite my lip, "Hell yes."

I lift her up, push her up against the tree, and wrap her legs around my waist. I kiss her viciously and we make out like animals until little me wakes and I jump back.
