Chapter 24: Hailey

I missed the following day of school due to being worn out. Which was very redundant because we ended up banging all day. Now I've finally made it to school.

I plop into a seat at Kaidee's table. I'm tired. For some reason I'm not really worried. I'm just super happy. To be involved with Kaidee so much that her trouble is mine... I smile.

"Ew", my eyes snap up to see Em sitting in front of me, "Why are you here? Where's my old fuck buddy?"

I glare at her, "Chill Em", Sam says, sitting beside her, "What's up, Hail?"

"I'm worn out", I say with a huff then smile at Em, "I've been fucking practically nonstop for the last two days."

"Oh you too?", Em smiles back while licking the sweet potatoes off of her spork.

Sam chuckles, "Sup Beck.", I look back at Beck as she sits down.

"Oi Hail. Where's your dog?"

"Grounded. Stay far away."

"You mean good ol' Kade got grounded?", Sam says in surprise.

"It's your fault, isn't it?", Em says.

"It's because of the party."

"Ah makes sense.", Sam shrugs, "How long?"

"Not too long. I think two weeks."

"I miss her already.", Em whines and puts her head down.

Sam pouts and Beck laughs. Even I giggle at this.

"So you'll hang with us instead of Kade?", Beck asks.

"Uh...", is she recruiting me? Am I a part of their group now? "Sure. I'll hang. I won't bully anyone though."

"Oh that was a one time thing princess.", Em says waving her hand.

I roll my eyes at her.

"You do need new threads though. Can't have such a preppy looking chick hanging with us.", Sam smirks.

"Shoppinhg?", Beck says between bites.

"Yay! I love shopping!", I jump up and clap. All three of them give me a look like I'm being weird or something. I clear my throat, sit down, and flip my hair, "So when are we going?"

"Now.", Sam stands.

"Yeesss.", Beck says and throws the remaining foodtray to the floor.

Em jumps up and latches arms with Sam, "What? You scared cheerleader?"

"No... I was just wondering if we're about to walk all the way to the mall.", I retort, trying to sound cool.

"The mall?", Sam questions and they all look at each other before bursting into laughter.

We arrive at some creepy looking store that has a larger selection of lingerie than actual clothes.

"Hey Ma", Sam says to the woman behind the register restocking the shelves with porn magazines and weight loss supplements.

"Hiya Sammy!", the woman turns to us, "And Emily and Beck and...? No Kade but a new face?"

"Kade's under total groundage.", Sam leans against the counter.

"Aww poor gal."

"This is Hail, her fiancé."

"Fiancé?", she smiles kindly at me, "Nice to meet ya, Hail."

"Pleased to make your acquaintance.", I smile back.
