Chapter 29: For Life or Death

Kaidee grips my fishnet tights and rips them apart. I'm glad that I didn't pay for them. She unzips her jeans and pulls herself out, already hard. I let out a shallow breath in anticipation while she pulls my panties to the side.

I pace in the lobby of townhall. The descendants of Mom and Mama's time and the descendants of now all came here to judge and apparently since I'm not legally related I can't witness the trial. The room is soundproof too so they could be beheading my family right now for all I know. I grip my ring. Please. Please don't take away the only reason for my happiness. My only reason to be alive, please don't take it away from me. I look out the window at the news crews who were not allowed any entrance. I'm thankful that I'm not outside but goddammit that's my fucking fiancé in there! I should be allowed inside. I run over to the desk, "Excuse me don't you think that I should be allowed to witness the fate of my fiancé?"

"Really this is the eighth time you've come over here. It doesn't matter what I think and, in regards to you being a minor, whatever vows that you've made with Kaideen Ba Pierce are null unless legal"

"Is there any sign of the trial concluding?"

"For the eighth time, I cannot give you any information on the progress of the trial."

"Please anything!", I see Sam stand and I put my hand up to say that everything's fine.

"Even if I had any information, I wouldn't give it to you. It's against protocol."

"So my ring is worthless to you? It means nothing?!"

"Just an expensive promise ring in my opinion."

I slam my hands against the counter, "BITCH!!", I slam my fists on the glass window between us and am pulled back by Kaidee's friends, "I'LL KILL YOU!!", I scream at the woman.

She stands, "That's it! Out! All of you! I'm calling security!"

"Call 'em!", Em yells.

The woman clicks a button and a red light gleams over a door next to her window. Just as two security guards come out the courtroom doors open. I duck past the guards and run into the crowd coming out. Familiar faces fill my vision but none of them are of my family. "Excuse me where's the Pierce and Ba family?", I am ignored, "Excuse me!", no response. I've had enough! I walk to the lobby coffee table, grab the vase of flowers from atop it, climb onto the couch, and throw it down. It shatters and everyone in the room freezes in silence.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS MY FAMILY?!"

If they've been executed, me threatening the lives of every living descendant right now could send me on my way to the same fate. Good. That's what I'm aiming for.

Finals are finally over!! Ya girl will no longer be a high schooler in a few more days! Whoo!!
I know that I said that the book wasn't on hold yet and then proceeded to put it on hold lol.
