Chapter 19.5 : Alexa, do you believe in unicorns?

I poked his cheek. "Tytan." He groaned and wrapped himself around me.

"Tytan!" I shouted. Nothing.

I hate to have to do this but it should wake him up.

I sucked on my finger and stuck it in his ear.
He groaned and opened his eyes. He scrunched his nose before looking into my eyes.

Suddenly his face softened. He looked so confused, it was cute. "Lexi, I have a question for you."

"What is it?" I rolled my eyes.

"I need you to be honest with me."

"Uh huh."

"Alexa, do you believe in unicorns?" He asked absolutely seriously. Like my answer meant the world to him.

"Yes, yes I do."

"Do you believe they exist?" He asked getting away from me and playing with his hands.

"Yes."

"So you'll go out on a date with me?" What the fuck?

"How did you draw a connection-" I was lost.

"Well, I remember once in sixth grade you told me that you'd go on a date with me when unicorns existed. And you say you believe in their existence so technically you have to go on a date with me now."

"How drunk are you?" I asked with my eyebrows furrowed.

He titled his head back and started laughing. "I'm not drunk!" Sure.

"You passed out on my shoulder five minutes ago Tytan."

"Okay maybe I'm a little drunk. Just a tiny bit." He indicated with his fingers.

Aww.

"But it doesn't matter if I'm drunk! I mean it. I want a date with you." He insisted.

"Hey, you're adorable right now but I don't think I can-"

"Why not?" He looked upset.

"You already have someone to go out with Tytan. You have Rose."

"But what if I want you?"

"Don't be childish you love her!"

"Who are you to tell me what I love! That's my choice. It's my choice if I want to go on a date with you." He was angry now.

"It's also my choice and I said no."

"But why? Lexi why can't you go on one date with me?"

"I don't know what alcohol is doing to your head but trust me you love Rose and by morning you'll go back to her."

"I have to talk to you about something." He said taking my hand.

"I'm listening." I said rubbing his shoulder with my free hand.

"Rose told me everything she did when she was away from me today. She told me why she came back and she said it was because she was in love with me. I don't know how Lexi, she still loves me."

"Exactly my point Tytan. You guys are meant for each other. It's okay if you love her, I wouldn't care."

"You wouldn't care?" He looked at me carefully.

"No, I understand."

"Okay then, I may have done the dirty with Rose today. A while back." He blushed scarlet. "And I loved being with her. Her skin was so soft and she kept telling me how much she loved me. How much she missed me. I kept thinking about you Lexi. And don't say this to anyone, it's a secret, but at one point, I thought she was you--I don't think she knows but I felt like I made a very big mistake."
