Two glorious hours into the journey, Tytan was drooling all over my shoulder, more than half asleep. It's like he's taking revenge.
Hunter was blowing it and Fran was hoping she could crawl into a hole and die. Trust me. I know her.
"Uhm- I- I need to pee." Fran whispered.
"There's a gas station ahead, I'll stop there." Hunter said.
The car stopped and Fran got out immediately.
"Alexa, come with me, please." She said while her eyes begged me.
"Uh- sure. Let me just get him off." I gestured towards bad boy.
I poked his cheek slowly.
"No, I don't deserve her." He muttered in his sleep.
"Tytan," I said, poking his cheek again.
"She's beautiful-" he spoke again. I rolled my eyes. I bet he's dreaming about that girl from last night. Aw well, that's not my problem now, is it? I poked his cheek again, but he just blew some air out on my face. This calls for drastic measures! I decided to go closer to him. I brought my mouth in line with his ear, "Wake up sleeping beauty." I chuckled. He opened his eyes drowsily and smiled.
"You think I'm a beauty?" he asked in a throaty, husky voice. His eyes gazed deep into mine as if he saw beyond what I wanted him to see. His hand came closer to my face and he gently held my cheek.
"Of course you're a beauty." My voice barely left my throat. He wasn't a beauty. He was a piece of art- a loud knock on the window had my heart almost popping out.
Francesca stood there with an annoyed expression.
Tytan let go and I got out of the car. What was this, the third time today? Fourth? I stopped counting. I wanted to fucking push a stake through my heart. It would be worth it if I stopped feeling this way.
Once we were at a sufficient distance from the car Fran stopped me. She looked over my body with a look of disgust in her eyes.
"Why are you wearing that ugly thing to a date?" Oh she'd say that, she's the one in the short dress. She was wearing something I'd expect Mae to wear. It was short, edgy and bold. Someone's trying to impress Hunter. "Uh- it doesn't really matter if it's not my date." I shrugged.
"Well isn't it? Do you see what he's wearing? Do you see the way he looks at you? Hunter just brought me along so that he wouldn't have to third wheel alone."
"So you wore that to third wheel? Yeah, makes perfect sense." I nodded.
"I thought it looked good." She said looking away.
"Oh it does. It looks hot. But why would you care about that if it wasn't your date?"
"Well I couldn't dress like that." She pointed to me.
Doesn't the concept of 'comfortable' occur to her?!
"I need to speak to the two of them, carry on alone." I kinda did but it was mostly me getting away from her. Nobody insults me in a hoodie except myself! Maybe I'd allow Tytan but that was different, he never meant it. She did.
I walked back to the car and took my previous seat.
"So whose date is it?" I asked with a smirk. He gave me a confused look. I didn't change me expression so he sighed.
"Alright I may have left out a tiny detail." He admitted.
"Were you that scared to ask me out? I don't know why you'd even want to ask me out, all you had to do was ask to hang out -"
