Fran wouldn't speak to me after what Hunter did. She thinks it's completely my fault he decided to interfere in her and Steve's life. I did feel bad... But I think she is right. It is my fault.
"You okay Lex?" Teddy Bear was kind enough to pick me up and bring me home.
"Just want to kill someone." I replied simply.
"Can I help?"
"Sure. Drive me there." My weapons are all kept at home so I had to come here before going to destroy Hunter's car.
I made a promise that I'll injure his car. And I'm not one to break promises.
"In how long?"
"Three hours." I'll wait till he's asleep to haunt him.
"Alexa, what are you up to?" He asked.
"Revenge."
"Being elder, I think I'm responsible for your actions, considering how I'm driving you there."
"Teddy bear, trust me. He deserves it."
"Trust you Lex." He smiled. Adorable.
"Good. Now, I will bother you about some of my homework."
"Toss the book here. I'll finish it and toss it back." He said simply.
"I'll fail that way!"
"Fine. Come over."
"Catch." I tossed my books. And he caught them with less trouble.
"Now, this one's harder." I giggled.
"Lex, don't jump from there." Too late. The gap between the windows is not much so I just jumped and waited to fall on my butt in his room.
"Ouch!" I screamed waiting to get hurt.
"I wouldn't let the princess fall now, would I?" He chuckled. He caught me in time. Wow. It's shocking 'cause this guy right here, holding me is the same who once almost fell down because his bag weighed too much for him.
"How strong did you even get?!" I asked in disbelief.
"Lex, I go to the gym everyday." He said keeping me down gently.
"Do you still know math, or did that change too?" I asked biting my bottom lip.
"No. My first love, still remains my first love." He said referring to his beloved: math.
"Good, because I need help."
*********
"Do you understand?" He asked as he finished explaining a sum.
"Yeah. I think I get it."
"Good, now the rest of the homework should be easy. Go back to your room and do it."
"Don't you like having me here?" I asked pretending to be hurt.
"If you're more comfortable here, sure go ahead. I'm going for a shower."
"I like your room. So I shall spend time here." He picked up a towel and walked towards the bathroom.
"I'll probably be asleep when you come." I said just as he let out a soft chuckle entering the shower. His room is like home. I feel comfortable here for some reason.
I turned to his bookshelf, it has always been filled with books but today it seems empty. There are a few books but not as many as last time. The books kept have changed too. Not much though.
