"Huh?!" takang tanong ni Marcus kay Kevin
"What? did you forgot about Zambales?" Kevin asked as if it's a matter of fact
"Yeah we were supposed to visit our friend Sarih but that' suppose to be.." Marcus' voice trailed off when he realized what Kevin is up to.
"Right this weekend! Great idea for you Sky, if you really wanna go with the guy then just tag along!"
Tahimik pa rin si Vincent.
"Wouldn't that be awkard?" Sky asked
"Why? it's not as if you need to be in a romantic date with him anyway." at last Vincent spoke with an uninterested tone.
"Fine I'll call him." Sky said with resignment. Tatayo sana si Sky para tawagan si Hunter but suddenly the rain pours.
Kevin smiled "You can call him here Sky we won't evesdrop PROMISE"
"Yeah right." Sky punched Hunter's number, it only took one ring for him to answer the call.
"Hey" -Hunter
"Hi did I wake you up?" Sky asked
"No no I'm glad you called.."
Sky thought Hunter's smile was evident on the tone of his voice and that kinda makes her smile as well.
Romano brothers were eating silently but they were surely listening to every word Sky was saying.
"I just called to ask if it's alright with you to go with us out of town instead for tomorrow, I'm afraid my friends have plans as well for this weekend and they're inviting us to come."
Tinignan niya isa isa ang magkakapatid to make them feel guilty about the lie.
"Sure where to?"
"Zambales. been there?"
"Oh no not yet but yeah I guess it's not a bad idea, what time tomorrow?"
"I'll just text you later, are you sure it's alright with you?"
"Sky anywhere you wanna go I'll go. I'll wait for your text then?"
"Ok.. yeah ah thanks bye"
Sky stammered, she felt uneasy and excited and euphoric at the same time. She's uneasy 'cause the guys are now looking at her, expecting she'll spill but she just shrugged instead.
"Well what did he say?" Marcus asked impatiently
"He said it's fine."
"And?" Kevin followed up
"He said we'll go."
"If that's the only thing he said then why are you blushing?" Marcus asked insistently
"Am not."
"Drop it." Vincent said with such authority, made both Marcus and Kevin shut up.
"Sarih said we can still play on their spot, you can bring your skatedboards along." Vincent added.
"I won't bring mine." Sky said
"why not?" Marcus asked
"'cause i have a DATE with Hunter."
