Chapter XXII
"Sky, hey wake up."
Nagulat si Sky when she felt someone is trying to wake her up
'Wait I'm dreaming again?'
She slowly open her eyes and saw Hunter.
"Hey you shouldn't be sleeping here." Hunter said but Sky's still trying to analyze what happened.
Nasa dulong parte pa rin siya ng dalampasigan.
'Nakatulog siguro ako kakatingin sa alon. Pero yung suot ko pareho ng suot ko sa panaginip ko, ano bang nangyare?'
"Everything ok Sky?" Hunter asked looking a bit worried
'Teka wag ka munang tumingin sakin ng ganiyan PLEASE lang. Lalong hindi ako makapagisip!'
"Hey, you look pale" Hunter cup her cheeks and check her forehead
"Sky, hey answer me" Hunter's voice cracked as he lightly tap her cheek
Parang natauhan naman si Sky, kinakausap nga pala siya ni Hunter
"Sorry, yeah I'm fine." Sky tried to smile a bit to assure him
"Phew! for a second there I thought you're jinxed or something. Anyway it's almost 5 and our reservation is 6pm let's head back?" Hunter asked as he help her get up
'Shoot may date nga pala kame tss'
"Sure let's go" Sagot niya agad at nauna ng maglakad, high tide na kaya kahit hanggang sa nilalakaran nila umaabot ang tubig. She felt like the water is teasing her toes. Paglingon niya kay Hunter nahuli niya itong nakangiti habang nakatingin sa kaniya.
"What's with that smile?" tanong niya habang nakangiti rin
"Nothing. The boys are worried sick since you're MIA for 3 full hrs."
Hunter grew serious all of a sudden, "I'm just feeling extra lucky to find you."
'Ayan tatanong tanong ka pa kasi ano na namang isasagot mo ngayon.' Sermon ni Sky sa sarili
She chose to just smile kesa kumibo.
"Seriously don't do that again, it's not safe and you made us all worried." Hunter followed up
"Yes sir." Saludo pa ni Sky
Habang nakatingin siya kay Hunter hindi niya napansin ang malaking alon na parating, umabot ang tubig hanggang sa tuhod niya at dahil sa impact, nabigla siya at na out balance.
"A-"
"Hey!"
Para siyang tinulak ng alon, mabuti na lang at maagap siyang naalalayan ni Hunter.
She's now leaning on him and his arms were wrapped around her to support her.
She look up to him to thank him but the moment their eyes met she knew she made a mistake.
All of a sudden she became too aware of their postion, aware of his arms around her and aware that his face is so close to hers.
