I roll over in my bed as I hear my phone ringing loudly. I silence it, groaning and rolling back over. It again rings as I reach my hand to it, reading the contact name. My eyes widen as I click the answer button.

"Banner?" I ask sitting up, my head running with questions. "So sorry to be calling so early," He says as I shake my head. "Where the hell have you been?" I question as Banner sighs, "Look I only have limited time to tell you this. But I scanned your DNA. Ivy, I know who your father is." My heart races as I grip the phone tightly. "Who- who is it?" I ask, my voice shaking. "I couldn't believe it, but it's Stark."

My jaw drops open as Banner asks if I am still there. No wonder why Tony was always so loving around me, the man is my father. "How could this be possible?" I ask as Banner sighs, "Well Stark and your mother probably--" "Not that Banner. I wonder if he knew?" I ask as Banner clears his throat, "I'm sorry I have to go, but I am sure you'll figure it out." The line goes dead as I drop my phone.

A knock at the door causes me to jump, "Come in," I say shocked. The man himself enters with a cup of coffee as my eyes meet his. "Morning, I heard talking, just wanted to check on you." Tony says as I cock my head. I stare at him for a moment, we looked nothing alike, but our attitudes were practically the same. "Tony?" I ask as he looks over to me, confusion in his eyes. "Yeah?" There was a moment of silence as I tried to figure out how to word my next sentence. "You're-- my father?" I blurt out as his eyes widen.

I could imagine his heart was going a hundred miles per hour as he just stood there. "How did you-" "Banner did a DNA test, looks like my hunt for you is over." I pull the covers from my legs, standing up. "Were you ever going to tell me?" Tony sat his coffee on my desk and fiddled with his fingers. "I was ashamed to tell you." He said as he edged towards me. I shook my head, "I couldn't retrieve you all those years ago, that's why I sent those droids, I wanted to save you. But I couldn't. For twelve years all I could do was hack into Hydra and read about you in their files. I couldn't do a damn thing." He says frustrated. "Those droids I destroyed, were there to save me?" I question as he nods solemnly. "So how do I have these powers?" Tony clears his throat.

"Well, your mom and I. We were a drunken one night stand. We didn't love each other and in fact she couldn't stand me. After I found out she was pregnant, which I had to find out from bribing her doctor, she told me she didn't want me to have anything to do with you. But I kept on it, because I knew how scared she must've been. Once she had you, Hydra abducted you same day and experimented on you, giving you the powers you have today. A few Shield agents and I got you back, and she never let me see you, and that was the last of it." A tear falls down onto my cheek as Tony locks eyes with me. "When I saw you for the first time since since your birth, I was speechless at how beautiful you've grown." I rush to him, enveloping him in a tight hug. "Why were you ashamed?" I ask suddenly as he looks down at me, "I'm no Phil Coulson." He says as I laugh slightly. "I'm sorry I never told you," He said as I laughed, "I get it, Tony." I smile.
