Madame Hydra and Being Uncooperative

For twelve years I was beaten and battered, trained and turned powerfully brutal. I had to hand it to Tigra, all those times we had fought and she had beaten me, it made me physically and mentally strong. In fact, Tigra and I were inseparable, a team like no other.

We did everything we were asked to do, even if it seemed dirty and evil, only because I was reassured of the good intentions of Hydra. I believed I was doing the right thing. I couldn't keep track of how many criminals Tigra and I had taken out, or captured, it was too many to count. I had been trained vigorously in combat and gun training, and many times been told I was a dangerous and valued asset to Hydra. I wasn't sure how dangerous I was, I had finally learned how to control my poisonous powers and even earned a kind of code name, Poison Ivy, which I loved.

I felt like a hero, only because I was treated like one. But I wasn't a hero, no not at all. I was an assassin disguised as a soldier.

"Girls, Madame Hydra would like to see you." I turn to the source of the voice, the soldier didn't waste time leaving our training room. I exchange a concerned look with Tigra.

"The last time The Madame wanted us you fell in love." Tigra says as she places her trusted sword back into it's case.

"Shut up." I growl jokingly. I rush to change out of my workout clothes and into my Hydra Uniform, Tigra follows. It took sometime to get use to Tigra's unusual appearance. Her skin was covered in tiny fur, never unkempt and hair as thick as a lion's mane, but the color of bark on a tree. Over the years she had changed. Her fur got darker and eyes brighter.

Tigra was a beast, strong and proper. I was the opposite, that was the beauty of our team up. She was the brute and I was the beauty. All though I was as good in combat as her, she was still overly strong. I used one of my greatest assets to really catch the eyes of our victims, and that was lust. There was something about men I'd never understand, they craved attention of the opposite sex. I'd lure them in, and we'd both take them out. It was plan we had used since I turned fifteen, men never cared about the age. They only cared about my use to them. Men are pigs.

"Since when does Madame Hydra need our help?" Tigra growls as she peels off her sweaty clothes, I do the same, jumping into the shower, quickly washing the sweat from my snow white skin. "Not sure, maybe she really wants us dead." I joke as Tigra laughs. I quickly wash up, and get out. Grabbing my uniform, I zip it on. It was a slick black and thick spandex uniform that hugged all the right places. Tigra and I both had specialized suits, it conformed to our powers. Tigra's was black and a lot more revealing than mine, but to be fair she was part cat, she needed the extra room more than I did. I laced up my black combat boots and fascined knives and guns in their holsters. Lastly I pulled on my gloves, tightening them perfectly. Tigra threw on her uniform, quicker than I could and helped french braid my long and unkempt fiery crimson hair. We nodded at each other then headed to the Hydra meeting room. We step in the room as it quiets down.

"Here come my soldiers." Madame Hydra says as we enter the room. Madame Hydra was feared at Hydra, behind her back she was called Viper. Her hair was a dark as the midnight sky and her uniform was always an emerald color that complemented her tanned skin. Her powers were beastly, she could teleport, was a skilled martial artist and much more. I aspired to be as skilled and tough as her.

"Now Ivy, Tigra. You have a huge mission that I need completed in two days. As you know we recently lost one of our valued soldiers who went awol, his known alias is The Winter Soldier." A few gasps escape the mouths of people around. "I thought he was a myth?" I ask, Viper looks to me. "No, he's very much real. For the longest time we had to keep his identity a secret, he is an extremely dangerous and powerful asset to us." She answers as I glance at Tigra.

Everyone was aware of the Winter Soldier, he was a badass. Apparently he had lost his arm, so he had a mechanical one and he had superhuman strength, advanced hand to hand combat skills and mixed martial arts training, he was stronger than Viper. From what I heard, The Winter Soldier went against Viper and almost killed her, but left her for death. What made them want to keep someone so dangerous around? The chatter slowly grew as people questioned everything to do with the missing soldier.

"Why would you keep this from us?" I asked as the room went quiet. Viper nodded, looking down. "He was too powerful to control and we lost him to his evil tendencies. Now we need him back in our hands, so he doesn't hurt anyone." Viper says as I cock my head. "I heard he was good." I state as Viper snaps her head to look at me. Tigra looks back at me, her eyes furrowed as if to ask my what I was doing. "You heard wrong." Viper states as I look down slightly.

"Now, Agent Ivy and Tigra, they are going to bring our soldier back home." She says as people look over to us. My heart raced, how in the hell were we to get him back? He was dangerous and almost killed Viper, we're not stronger then her. I cocked my head, "How are we supposed to do that?" I question as Viper's eyes connect with mine. "I want only Agents Tigra and Ivy here, the rest can go back to their positions." Viper said as everyone cleared out, leaving Tigra and I. I leaned back in my chair as the door shut behind the last person.

"Ivy, is there something you'd like to discuss?" Viper asks as she slinks her way to me. I stand up, not exactly challenging her but not wanting to have to keep looking up to her. "Yeah, Tigra and I have been busting our asses for the past month, mission after mission. Why don't you have a few other agents retrieve him." I say as Viper stops walking, looking straight into my eyes. We were about the same height. Suddenly Viper through a wicked punch as I dodged, she grabbed my wrist, flipping me onto my back. She then pushed a knife to my temple as my powers surged through my veins. Tigra jumped up, "Don't ever question my authority again." Viper spat as she pulled the knife away, letting me fall back to the ground slightly. A part of me wanted to take her out, I wanted to grab her arm, poisoning her and never looking back. As I sprung up Tigra pushed me back slightly. "Cool off." She whispered. As I met her eyes, "She's our commander, and should be treated as." Tigra says as I clench my jaw.

"Now Ladies, here's the details. The Soldier is very skilled and ruthless. He will do anything to protect himself, even if it means killing you two. Now you'll be leaving later tonight, but I will have Agent Sitwell debrief you, good luck." She says, walking past, she patted my back. As she exits Sitwell pulls out a file named, 'Barnes' I wasn't sure why it was named that, but I didn't think much about it.

"Now we got whiffs of the Winter Soldier here and there. But just today got him on a camera in the Sokovia town and area. Now since you are already suited up, all you need to know is how dangerous this is, I want you to use these to at least knock him out." Sitwell hands us small handguns with the Hydra symbol on the handle. Tigra held it up,

"Knock him out with a handgun?" She questioned. Sitwell smiled, "Oh, it's no hand gun, it's essentially a high powered taser that emits an electric shock powerful enough to knock you unconscious in one strike. It's very powerful and not to be played with, but you know that." Sitwell says as I put the gun in one of the many holsters on my belt. "Now finally, The Soldier is very tricky and will do anything to trick you into thinking he is innocent, but be strong minded." He says as Tigra and I nod. "Now there is stealth jet waiting in Bunker 7, ready to take off. Get going, make sure you search every part of that town." He says. "You go ahead, I'll meet you down there." Tigra says as she walks towards Agent Sitwell. I nod, leaving her behind.

Navigating my way to the jet, I jump on as one of the pilots help me strap in. I remembered the look in Viper's eyes as she took me down. She didn't care if she hurt me, was that something a leader of heros does? It puzzled me. Tigra was never like that.

"Are you nervous to try to capture a myth?" Pilot Wilks asks as he sits across from me. I look up with a slight smile, "Extremely." I say, Wilks nods, "I met him years ago, he was uncooperative." I tilt my head, "Uncooperative?" I question. Wilks faces me, "Yeah, till they brainwashed--" Wilks shuts his mouth instantly as I look over to him. "Brainwashed?" Wilks keeps his mouth closed as Tigra jumps on fastening her straps.

"Tigra?" I ask as Wilks jumps into the front, glancing back at me, horror in his eyes. Tigra looks at me and tilts her head, "What's up kid?" Suddenly I felt uncomfortable, almost as if I asked the question, something terrible would happen. I clear my throat, "What's our attack plan?"
