Berlin
The car bumps up and down as I pull at my cuffs. T'Challa was in the front, then fencing separated him from Steve, then Steve from me, and me from Sam.
"So you like cats?" Sam asks as I smirk. "Sam-" "What? Dude shows up dressed like a cat and you don't want to know more?" Sam says. Cap looks at T'Challa, his eyebrows furrowed, "Your suit, is it Vibranium?" It takes a moment for T'Challa to answer.
"The Black Panther has been the protector of Wakanda for generations," He starts, "A mantle passed from warrior to warrior. Now because your friend murdered my father, I also wear the mantle as King. So I ask you, as both warrior and King, how long do you think you can keep your friend safe from me?" He asks as Cap looks down. "For as long as it takes." I retort as T'Challa turns to look at me, his eyes challenging mine to look away. I tilt my head raising my eyebrow and pursing my lips. "Ivy." Cap says as I scoff, looking back out the window.
The car stops as we get out, a man takes off my handcuffs as I rub my wrists. I look back seeing James in some kind of small, portable holding cell, he had a bar across his chest and shackles on his arms and legs. I sigh turning, almost running into T'Challa. "I thought you were a sensible women." He says as I scoff. "You thought wrong." I scoff pushing past him to catch up with Steve and Sam.
"What's gonna happen to him?" Steve asks, referring to Bucky. "Same thing that ought to happen to you," A short man speaks fast. "Psychological evaluation and extradition." His southern drawl was prominent. "This is Everett Ross, Deputy Task Force Commander." Sharon says, standing next to Everett. We were in the CIA building, as agents were walking all around. "What about a lawyer?" Cap asks as Everett chuckles, "Lawyer? Ha, that's funny. See that their weapons are placed into lockup. Oh, and we'll write you a receipt." Everett says. An agent hauls away our weapons, Cap's shield, Sam's wings and my taser gun and many knives. I was glad to see they found my gun. "I better not look out the window and see anybody flying around in that." Sam says as we start walking. I glance back once more as James looks away from my eyes as a metal door slides in front of him and locks.
"You will be provided with an office, instead of a cell. And do me a favor, stay in it." Everett suggests as we follow him down a narrow hallway, windows surrounding each side. "I don't intend on going anywhere." T'Challa says as I roll my eyes. Nat meets up and walks by Steve.
"For the record, this is what making things worse looks like." She says. "He's alive." Steve states, not looking at her. We get into a large room where Stark was yelling at someone on the phone. There were computers everywhere and agents walking around, it was pretty busy. "Try not to break anything while we fix this." Nat says walking past us.
"Consequences? You bet there will be consequences--- obviously you can quote me on that because I just said it. Anything else? -- Thank you, sir." Tony says as he hangs up the phone angrily. "Consequences?" Cap asks, "Secretary Ross wants you three prosecuted. Had to give him something." Tony says, he walks over to me, concern in his eyes. "Are you okay?" He asks as I nod. He clenches his jaw as he pulls me into a hug, "What were you thinking?" I shake my head, "Bucky's a good guy, he didn't bomb Vienna." I say as Tony cocks his head, "How do you know for sure?" He asks, "I don't," Nat calls for Tony as he spins around, "We'll talk later," He says walking away from us. "Not getting that shield back am I?" Cap asks as Nat and Tony spins around to look at us. "Technically it's the government's property. Wings too." She says with a smirk. "That's cold." Sam says shaking his head. "Warmer than jail." Tony calls back as I laugh.
"Ivana?" A voice calls out, I turn looking into the eyes of a man with glasses and slicked back hair. He was a head taller than me, and very handsome. "Yes," I ask as he hold his hand out for me to shake, I take it as he kisses my knuckles. "Walk with me," He says as I follow. I look back seeing Cap goes into a screening room. "Now, my name is Doctor Theo Berssard. I am here to evaluate Mr. Barnes. Now it's to my understanding, you two are friends?" I looked over at him. "What?" I ask, "Well, you tried to help him, so I inferred." I cleared my throat as he pressed a button on the elevator. "Now, I thought it would be a good idea to have you down there with me as I interrogated Mr. Barnes. It will be good for him to see a friendly face. Maybe it will ease him into talking." The elevator door closes as I shake my head. "Steve has known him longer." I state, "We can't trust him at the moment." Theo says as I nod. What made me more trustworthy? "Alright, here we are."
