Chapter 12: Fallen Angels

(Cierra's POV nearly forgot about her)

"Everyone to there battle stations, we've got Brutes inbound." Came the voice over the coms. Me and my team Oryis were hiding in the trees waiting for the brutes to get here and once they did we would activate operation Clockwork.

"Commander Frye, the brutes are 30 Knicks north." Ok, Oryis, move up." We started to climb the trees and jump from branch to branch.

"Commander, they are right below us." I looked down to see Grunts, jackals, brutes, elites, hunters and the profits."Jesus Christ, it's a full house down there. You guys ready." I looked at everyone and they nodded." Mike, you go for the Profits, Dina you take out the Jackals and grunts, Bucky you go for the elites I've got the hunters."

I lifted out grenades and my knife. I signalled 3....2....1... with my hands and when I closed my fist we leapt down. I stabbed the 1st hunter in the neck and shoved a grenade in it and did the same to the other but I forgot the other grenade so I grabbed his arm and aimed the weapon to his head and hit a nerve in his neck and he blew his own head off.

(Jordan's POV)

When I heard the girls voice I knew it was Bethany." BETHANY!?! HOW DID YOU GET HERE!?!" I was captured by the covanent and I was stuck in a cell an-" sorry to cut you off but can we talk about this later."

As I said that I activated my after burners and zoomed to the ebonies and started to zig zag and barrel roll and I killed about fifty aces but they kept coming." Sirs, I've got a ace on my tail." I got yah Ethan." Jordan, I can make a runway for you to get on the Vinasee." Thanks Reyes."

I looked to my left to a guy in green super armour fly beside me. He looked at me and saluted me. I seen the doors to the hanger bay to the Vinasee closed so I punched it and ejected from my jackal and it blew a hole in the door and I used my grapple to real myself in.

"Here!" I tossed the green armoured man a Titan, we got behind cover,"MY NAMES JORDAN!" I shouted over the gun shots,"CHIEF." He said shooting loads of people.

I heard the gunshots stop and looked out to see a man with a cowboy hat on, a piece maker on his waist and cowboy boots on," Isn't this nice," he spoke with a rice cowboy accent." Who are you?" I asked," the names Maxwell, Maxwell acachalla. We can do this three ways. Number one, you drop your weapons and come with me. Two, you try to kill me and end up dead, or three I inject a poison into your veins and it works it's way to your brain and kill you slowly and painfully and before you die you won't know who anyone is. So, what will it be."

Me and chief walked out from the cover and place our weapons on the ground and slide them towards him." Wise decision." He came closer and said," sadly, I lied about the first one." And he injected me with the poison and disappeared.

I think time was frozen because the soldiers started shooting at us again.

Be strong Jordan, you will be ok.

I looked around and didn't see anyone, strange I thought to myself. Who was that?

I did as she said and stood up and u felt no pain and I felt stronger." Have we got any more weapons?" I asked chief, he shook his head no and I looked to see them.

Something came over me and I ran and slid along the ground, grabbed the guns and duel wielded them and took out all the enemies.

Me and chief made our way to the elevator and took it up to the bridge and we burst in shoot all the robots in the room and made it to Kotch.

I grabbed his head and slammed it into the control panel and I lifted his head and his final words were," Mars.....Ae(gasp)ternum." He pressed a button and set the ship to self destruct I grabbed my knife and shoved it through his eye and to the brain.

Me and chief sprinted towards the hanger bay and we both leapt out and into space. Behind us Vinasee blew up and the shock wave sent me flying into some Jackal debris and it made a crack in my helmet and I was losing oxygen.

I seen chief stop and grabbed me and then I just blacked out due to lack of oxygen........
