Chapter 20: Piece To The Fallen

(Jordan's POV)

I walked through the halls of Geneva with my blackened visor I walked towards the P.T.T.F wall and carved Nora Slater into it and sat on the bench behind me and just stared at it for an hour. I watched as a man sat down next to me and looked at the wall to." So, who did you lose?" Nora Salter. She gave her life to save the crew of my ship. What about you?" I just like to stare at Usef Omar." Was he your father?" No. He was a side." A side of what?" I can't tell you but let's just say, you might want to take a closer look at the body on Titan."

With that he got up and walked off and I was left thinking. I knew I needed a ship to get to Titan because a Jackal won't make it that far. I stood up and walked towards Retribution. It's time to get my vessel back but first. I need to pay someone a visit.....

(Derp's POV)

Me, Bane and Crainer were on Titan just waiting for someone when a engineer came in and I shot him with the doomsday device and it turned him into a pile of smouldering ash." IT WORKS!!!" I shouted. When we all got back to base we started on the ship.

(Cierra's POV)

After I had a long conversation with Captain Nick Reyes we came to a truce and we decided to work together. I heard a knock at my quarters and in came a man with a blackened visor and he closed the door." I need your help." I'm sorry! But who the fuck do you think you are just coming here?"

He took off his mask and it was JORDAN!" What the hell are you doing here? And how did you find me?" Bethany told me and I really need your help." Why don't I just turn you in?" You can't." And why's that?" Reyes would kill me in cold blood because I kill his men." What do you need help with?" I need a spartan suit." (Sigh) follow me but put your mask back on."

He put his mask on and thanked me and I lead him to a room only Spartans have access to which was the armoury." Here. This was Bucky's before he died." Thank you soo much." What are you planning on doing with it though?" Take Retribution back."

(Gideon's POV)

"Who the fuck are us?" Asks the man and I recognised him as Jim Lovell." Hello my names the doctor and this my companion Amy." Hi." My names Gideon and this is Iona." Jim Lovell. How the hell did you guys get here?" In that blue box." I said.

We walked in and the lights fluttered off and on. I asked," What's with the lights?" There is something in this base that is hunting us. I was attacked last night." He lifted his trousers and there were stitches all over his leg and he was missing a chunk of skin." What did it look like Jim?" Said the doctor." I....I can't re-remember?"

I heard a noise like a roar come from down the hall and me and Iona lifted our weapons and I could hear it getting closer and closer. The lights exploded and me and Iona activated our night vision and seen the beast.

We both opened fire and some of the blood landed on my arm and it burned right through it."AAGGGHHHHHHH!!!" I dropped my gun and Iona kept shooting it and killed it. She quickly helped me and covered my wound and the last thing I saw before I blacked out was my severed arm lying where I collapsed.

(Jordan's POV)

I walked to the bridge of Retribution and asked Reyes, Boats, Griff and Gator to follow me to INFINITY. They beloved I was a Spartan and I lead them to a alleyway and knock them out and tied them up and put duct tape over there mouths and walked back to Retribution.

When I was there I spoke," All workers on Retribution listen up. CaptainNick Reyes, commander Boats, Specialist Gator and Griff have been told by Admiral Raines to stay behind to talk to them and he told me to take control for now and we are going to back to Titan so please hold on tight."

I looked around at everyone who looked convinced and we headed towards Titan.

(When he is on Titan)

I walked to the row of dead body's and found the man in charge." Excuse me sir but is Usef Omar's body still here?" Yes it is it is the last one down the end of the hall." Ok tank you."

I walked down to the body and opened the bag and looked at his body. It was him. What did that man mean? I looked at his face to see a bit of skin hanging off and something shiny was there. I ripped his face off to reveal a robot.

I laughed a bit to myself. Smart bastard. I stood up and went back to Retribution and flew back to earth and found the man sitting on the bench." Your him. Aren't you? You smart bastard." He laughed a bit and took his hat off and it was him." Why?" I've been in the Marines for over twenty years and I am getting too old for that shit and I decided to fake my death to get out of the Marines." But why? You wife and kid thinks you are now dead and for what? To retire a year earlier." I couldn't take it Jordan and I can't fight." Yes you can! You have to believe in yourself and keep fighting for your family. You can't just fake your death and go to them and say you faked it and think they will be ok with it mate." I know but I was too old." Fuck it! Age is overrated! As long as you believe your young then you can still fight."
