Several weeks have went by and I still haven't spoken to Zac. He was too hung up on Marie to even notice that he had lost everyone. I have been hanging out with William whenever I had free time. Him and I have gotten fairly close. We hardly talked about Zac or Alice. They became irrelevant. I never knew William could be such an interesting person. He had a dark past but he always made the most out of it.

It was the day before thanksgiving break and the clock was ticking super slowly. I tapped my pencil on my desk. I was impatient and I didn't want to be here anymore. Today I was going to meet William's dad. I was so nervous. I had no idea what to expect. The bell rang and I was the first one out of my chair.

I ran out of the room with my head down. I soon came into contact with another body.

"Ouch! Watch where you're going!" I heard the person comment. I looked up and saw the wicked bitch herself. Marie half smiled at me when she realized who I was.

"I have to get going," there was no way in hell I was gonna let Marie ruin my day. I tried to get past her but she stuck her arm in my way.

"Your little boy toy is great in bed, Meredith," she chuckled. I felt my cheeks starting to warm up. "He's the best I've ever had,"

Why the fuck is she dangling him in front of me? Why is she telling me all this? I didn't give a shit. I stopped caring about Zac awhile ago. Good for him. I wasn't mad about the fact he slept with her.... I was mad about the fact that her dumbass was in my way. I looked her in the eyes and smiled. It was clearly not what she expected.

"Good for you, Marie. I'm truly happy for you," I leaned in her ear and whispered, "maybe you should get checked. I heard he has genital herpes," Marie's face turned to anger and disgust as I pushed through her.

I smiled to myself. I knew it was wrong to lie about Zac but who knows what he could've caught sleeping with that bitch. Oh well. He isn't my problem anymore. I found William at his locker with a couple of his buddies from class. He shook their hands when he saw me coming. He smiled brightly at me and brought me in for a hug. William and I have a no kissing policy ever since Halloween night. I won't kiss anyone that I'm not dating. He was completely fine with it, surprisingly.

His scent was warm and enticing. I couldn't get enough of it. "Are you ready?" He asked placing his hand on my shoulder.

I nodded. "I kinda have to be,"

"You don't have to do this. I would be completely okay with seeing a movie,"

"No, no! It's okay. It's not that big of a deal,"

He smirked. "To my dad, it is. You're the first girl he's gonna meet officially,"

"What do you mean by 'officially'?"

He looked around. "Mer, I have already told you,"

Oh yeah. His dad has only met his girl 'friends' whenever he took them home to sleep with them. I made a disgusted look. It was weird to know that sweet, little ol' William isn't a virgin and has slept with almost half the girl population at this school.

He noticed my facial expression and grabbed my wrist. "Come on. We don't want to be late. He's making my favorite,"

William was fumbling with his house key since his fingers were frozen from being outside. I was shaking. My jacket wasn't thick enough to keep me warm. He looked over at me, apologetically. He finally got the door open and I was overwhelmed with the smell of chili and cookies. It smelt amazing.
