Chapter 2 || In Which I Met Butt Boy
"Colton Hanks." I repeated, still unable to fully process what she just told me.
She nodded and smiled sweetly. "Is there a problem?"
I shook my head instantly.
"You can leave." she waved me off.
I got up robotically and walked out thinking, how the hell am I going to get that much information out of him?
And if you wonder why I hate him that much, well I don't hate Colton Hanks that much, it's just that I had some sort of hatred for him. You see, while I was taking pictures for my assignment, the asshole banged into me and the camera fell onto the ground. And he didn't even bother apologising. And he freaking spilled coffee on the first new blouse I ever had. I was lucky and extremely grateful that it didn't break. That was why I'm so protective of my camera and why I disliked him so much.
I had no choice but to accept the assignment; unless I wanted to lose the job like how Maria put it so lightly as if she was telling me how tasty raw egg yolks were.
Raw egg yolks taste horrible, trust me.
It's a long story, but let's just say that teenagers get influenced by their best friend a lot (a.k.a. Andrea) and somehow we thought that eating raw egg yolks would make us much more thinner.
It didn't work by the way.
Andrea peered at me from behind her computer screen and asked me meekly, "Are you okay?"
I was about to give her a nod but then changed it into a shake of the head instead. "Guess who's my next assignment."
"Er... The person should be that bad until it made you act like this." she tapped her chin while thinking. "The Kardashians?" she offered.
I looked up at her. "Worse. Colton Hanks."
She gasped. "You're kidding!"
"I hope I was."
"I'm sure you'll be fine." she tried to comfort me, to which I raised my eyebrows at. "Okay. Okay. Maybe you won't be fine." she finally admitted. "Just make sure you keep your camera 50 meters away from him." she smiled.
"Okay, maybe a hundred." she admitted after thinking about it for a short while.
I groaned and hid my face in between my hands. "God must be playing a trick on me."
"I think He did it to us already with Maria." she whispered.
"Speaking of which, look what she gave me." I thrusted my foot at her direction.
"Are those Jimmy Choo's?" she gasped.
I nodded. "I know. Maybe Maria may not be as bad as we thought."
She shrugged. "Who knows? She's after all, Maria Vergano."
True that.

I adjusted the brightness and put on the lens onto my DSLR camera. I tested it with a couple of pictures, satisfied with the results and began taking pictures of a small little girl licking her ice cream. She noticed me taking her picture and she smiled broadly, her lips full of the cream.
I looked up and gave her a smile before scanning the park to see anything worth my attention. I spotted a mother bird feeding her baby chicks and I quickly snapped a couple of pictures of them.
