Well, look who's back? Did you miss me? I'm sure you did! :) Enjoy!

Chapter 17 || Aftermath

It was never in my bucket list to kiss a superstar; let alone share a kiss under the rain with one.

The weather was fairly clear, the raindrops still pattering onto the gravelled road where both Colton and I were walking on. We had discovered a shorter route up and down the temple which made us feel like idiots for not discovering it sooner.

Well, maybe only me.

I often think that in life, even if we're feeling alone in this big and cruel world, there is this certain point in life where we're not alone. There are people around us; no matter if they were friends or foe. We give them a label and slowly start to change them and replace them with new labels, new names to associate them with.

Right up until now, with Colton and I cramping beside each other on a supposedly-for-one bus seat, I wasn't sure what I would label him.

We had gone from enemies (on my part), to acquaintances and then to friends in such a short period of time.

What exactly is he to me now?

Sure, we've gone to the kissing stage, but wasn't it all a little too fast? I barely know the guy and I've already gone onto the first base with him. And he hasn't made any effort to kiss me again or to even mention about the kiss.

What about Henry?

Well, what about Henry?

I think his face was wiped out of my memory a long time ago.

And with that thought still lingering in my head, I turned towards the window on my right and proceeded to stare at all the passing stalls and people. Colton was fast asleep beside me with his head on my shoulder, which I was pretty sure was an uncomfortable position what with the height difference and all. As I turned my attention to the sleeping Colton, I couldn't help noticing a slight dribble leaving his mouth and heading towards my shoulder; the unfortunate victim.

Not wanting to stain my favourite sweater, I shouted into Colton's ear. "Fire!"

At once he instantly shot up from his seat, his eyes fleeting around and holding his bagpack up as if it was his weapon. "Where's the fire?"

I cracked up looking at Colton which in turn made him look at me in realisation. "Oh. You better have a reason to have woken me up like that."

I suddenly realised his sunglasses had dropped off in the process and instantly pulled him down onto the seat beside me, away from the curious glances of the public. "Your sunglasses!" I pointed out.

His brain instantly clicked; something I felt jealous of, since he had just woken up and put on his said glasses in a hurry. "Now, I know that that was a problem, but what actually made you wake me up?" he asked.

I was still surprised up until today that he wasn't even bothered about the fact that he was practically exposed to the public's eyes but was more bothered about the reason I woke him up. "People had practically seen you in public and all you care about is why I had woken you up?"

He looked confused for a second about my sudden outburst then shrugged indifferently. "Uh, yeah."

"Aren't you scared that the paps would catch you?"

"No."

"Oh." was my genius response, cause honestly, I didn't know what to say about that.

"Now why did you wake me up?" Colton asked again.
