Last chapter before the epilogue! Let me let you in onto a secret.. I'm actually planning AND want to finish this book on my birthday... It's on the 25th of Sept by the way.. it's just something I had always wanted to do! (:
Sorry for the long wait! Writer's block strikes again!
Oh, and this chapter have skipped time frames (I hope that makes sense) meaning there will be times where the story just skips time!
Enjoy! xx
Chapter 30 || If We Ever Meet Again
-------------------------
" I will never be the same, see if we ever meet again." - If We Ever Meet Again by Timbaland featuring Katy Perry.

One month later.
"Arianna!" Liz called. "You've got mail!"
"Okay!" I yelled out and ran down the stairs. I was hoping that it was the results of my scholarship application I had applied one month ago.
She handed me the letter. "I think this is it."
I took it and took a deep breath before tearing open the envelope.
Miss Arianna Winters,
Congratulations! You have been accepted by..
From then on, I stopped caring. I couldn't believe I had gotten in!
"What does it say?" Liz asked.
"I got in!" I screamed.
She jumped and pulled me into a tight hug. "Oh my god! Really? Oh my god!"
I squealed in her arms. "I got in! I got in! I got in!"
All my hardwork had paid off; those nights where I had stayed up late till midnight just to touch up my pictures. Those many days where I had skipped meals working on my portfolio.. It had finally paid off!
"I have to quit my job at the café then!" I exclaimed, suddenly remembering that I still had a job.
"Yes! Just send a quick text to Natasha, I'm sure she's more than happy for you!"
Throughout Liz's stay here, the café had been her personal hangout spot and she had grown closer to Natasha as well.
"Alright," I shrugged and did as told.
After the message was sent, the wonderful news finally sank in and I screamed. "I got in!"
Liz got excited again as well and we hugged each other while jumping around like two kids who had just been told that Santa was indeed real and that they were apart of the 'Nice' list.
"I'm so proud of you." Liz kissed my cheek. I pulled back from her embrace to see her in tears.
"Why are you crying?" I used one hand to wipe away her tears.
"These are happy tears, don't worry." she sniffed. "But I can't believe you're going to leave just like Colton is too."
I pulled away and looked at her in confusion. "I thought he was staying for another month?"
Colton had explained to me that he needed a few more months in Malaysia to work on the release of his last album and then spend the rest of the days left in his contract back in the UK. He was scheduled to stay in Malaysia for another month, wasn't he?
