Don

Don had trouble understanding what he had just seen. His sister had a cat charge her from the back before turning into it, then she began to fight some snake man, and finally, the snake man whisked both of them away. Yes, things at this inn were mysterious indeed.

Surprisingly, Don hadn't feared what would happen to Hope. After what happened to him that week, this was like small information.

Once the two were gone Faith immediately asked what happened to Hope.

"She's with Bast, fighting Apophis," Melominera answered.

Faith's face took a worried look. "Apophis?"

"It's fine as long a she is with Bast."

Faith's face didn't completely lose it's concern, but she eased down a bit.

"What are we doin' next?" Don asked, suddenly feeling bored as if nothing had happened.

Faith turned to her brother with a look of pure disgust. "You're sayin you don't care about your sister being trapped with a cat lady and fighting a snake with her."

Don didn't say anything but stare blankly at his aggrivated sister.

"Anyways," Isis began, obviously trying to calm everyone down a notch. "Starting in the morning, these two beside me and myself will begin training tomorrow. Hopefully, you three will be able to learn from our lessons." Isis snapped her head back and forth between Horus and Melominera in a questioning manner. "Any more to add?"

Horus shrugged before adding casually, "We're going to have to find Amun." Horus said his last words with a quick shudder.

As soon as he heard the name Amun, Don couldn't help but feel a hateful sensation surge through him. Was there anything going on with Amun and Horus, and if there was something going on, what was it?

Whatever the answer to his questions were, the topic vanished as quickly as it had come. It was easy to see that Horus was not willing to splurge further in the subject and Don was too afraid to ask on.

Looking as if nothing happened, each projection of the three floating gods disappeared.

Faith

Faith woke up to burning sensation on her chest. Right now she was taking a short nap on the couch of the Victorian furnished living room.

In one swift motion Faith's hands were on the area becoming heated. Once she felt it, her finger began to feel the same fiery pain.

Then Faith remembered the sacred necklace hanging on her neck. Faith inferred that this was Melominera's way of telling her it was time for training.

As soon as the thought came to her mind, the burning ceased. Faith took this as a good sign.

Faith made her way to the weaponry room she had been in when she, Don, and Zonnique had seen the mass amount of battle gear on the walls.

As she approached the big wooden doors she could hear the sounds of clashing metal. Faith pulled the cold, golden handles of the door and walked in.

The room was so large, Faith couldn't believe that it was even apart of the motel.

Even though she had seen the weaponry room before, its wonders never ceased to amaze her. She couldn't help but stare lovingly with an adoring glint in her amber eyes at the weapons on the walls.
