Chapter 1

Laura - (I was at the mall shopping when I got a phone call) hello?who's this?
Officer Jamie- I'm officer Jamie are you Laura Marano ?
Laura- yes
Officer Jamie - there was an emergency you need to go home now !
Laura- ok I'm on my way! ( I hung up the phone and drove home quickly )
Laura-(walked towards an officer )
Officer Jamie - nice to meet you in person Laura I'm officer Jamie we spoke on the phone
Laura - you too.whats the emergency ?!
Officer Jamie- I'm terribly sorry but 3 men broke into your house with Guns your family were victims of the accident
Laura- where are they?
Officer Jamie - ( pointed to three body bags)I'm sorry they have passed
Laura-what
Officer Jamie -( sighed ) how old are you ?
Laura-17
Officer Jamie - well since your a minor you will be staying with another family member do you have one ?
Laura- no it was just me my mom dad and sister my other family left when I was very young
Officer Jamie - ( sighed ) then you will be staying with a women named Stormie and her family
Laura- I don't know her !
Officer Jamie - you will come on I'll take you there now .

Officer Jamie -(drove away )
Knock knock knock
Stormie - hello?
Laura- hi um are you Stormie
Stormie -yes
Laura - I'm Laura , Laura Marano
Stormie- oh honey come in , come in .
Laura- thanks
Stormie-you won't remember but we've met before when you were very little .
Laura- really
Stormie -yes ,so what brings me this lovely visit ?
Laura- um well Um in the will it says I will be staying here
Stormie - will ? What will?
Laura- the will my m-mother wrote if anything happened to the family
Stormie - oh gosh honey what happened
Laura - well I was at the mall and got a
P-phone call and I came back to the house to find out there was a breaking a-and e-entering a-and t-they had guns s-Stormie my family is d-d-dead ( I barely got out )
Stormie - oh honey I'm so sorry of course you can stay here .
Laura-t-thank you
Stormie - no problem , come meet the rest of OUR family ( I said letting her know my family is now hers too )
Laura - o-ok
Stormie - KIDS , MARK GET DOWN HERE NOW PLEASE!!!!!!
Kids and mark-OK!!!!!!
Laura-( after that seven people came rushing down the stairs ) woah big family
Stormie- yup, so guys this is Laura she will be living here from now on
Riker - not to sound rude but why ?
Stormie - you want me to tell them Laura
Laura -( nodded)
Stormie - Laura's family were victims of a breaking and everything the suspects had guns and well Laura's family didn't make it
Riker - oh my god I'm so sorry for bringing that up
Laura- it's ok you didn't know
Rydel - hi I'm Rydel YAY I FINALLY GET A SISTER!
Laura-( smiled )
Riker - and I'm Riker
Ross-Ross
Ryland -I'm Ryland the baby of the family
Rocky - I'm rocky
Mark- I'm mark , stormies husband nice to meet you
Laura-( nodded)
Ratliff- and I'm Ellington Ratliff people call me e-rat Ratliff or ell I'm not related to these weirdos but I am a close family friend
Laura - ok and nice to meet you all
Stormie - Rydel , why don't you show Laura to her new room
Rydel- which one?
Stormie - the one next to Ross's room
Rydel - ok! Come on laur . Can I call you that ?
Laura- yes ( followed Rydel up to a room )
Rydel-here we are
Laura -woah ( Rydel brought me into a room that had dark dusty rose walls . The headboard on the bed was white and so was the bedding and all the pillows.Then there were white tree branch designed decals being spread out on each wall but they were small and only were two or three on each wall .There was a white vanity with lights and a pink patented vanity stool.A few feet away from the end of the bed was a white fluffy area rug and two white bean bag chairs with a glass table in the center of the small round rug .Right over the bed was a huge window . On the other side of the room a big flat screen was hung on the wall and 15 feet away from that was two floating bubble chairs with white cushions and fluffy pink blankets and pillows that are pink with white writing and sat lol and omg . Then another pink patented vanity stool in between them .Near the bed on either side was two glass N tables with two bear stuffed animals on them  . The room was completed with light wood flooring)
Rydel-do you like it we have a red one or purple one even yellow if you -
Laura-(I cut her off ) its perfect
Rydel -( smiled ) ok well do you wanna head down stairs ?
Laura- sure ?

Riker- hey Laura
Laura- hey
Ross - do you feel better?
Laura- yea I mean I'm still upset but now I have you guys so thank you
Everyone except Laura - (smiled ) your welcome
