Chapter 13
It had been a week since their attack on New York City. And since they’d let the entire world know just who they were, they’d had to keep under cover when not on the move.
But now, they were on their way to Philadelphia. Since the New York City attack, he’d gained five more people, ones with powers that he could really use.
He drove down the street, the others in the three SUVs behind him. It was a strange sight and he could see people stop to watch as they drove incredibly slowly down the street until he stopped and cut the engine.
In the rearview mirror, they others started getting out of the SUVs. People were really watching now, eyes wide with confusion. Car horns honked behind and people started yelled for them to move.
He looked at one of his guys and nodded. The guy smiled, turning toward the line of cars that was building behind them. Then, with a simple step forward, the ground under the cars shot upward, sending the cars flying through the air.
That was when the screams started.
And the real fun began.
***I'm sorry it's so short and boring! :( It's just that, for some reason, I'm having MAJOR writer's block right now! D: I don't know why, seeing as I have everything planned out from a certain point to the end. I guess I'm just trying to think of something to happen BEFORE any of that happens!
Well, I'll try to get myself out of my writer's block and hopfully have something up either tomorrow or the next day!
