I was to shocked to get up. I mean, it's not everyday that you get attacked by something that's to dark to see properly. I didn't even know if the shadows were still hiding me, but even if they weren't, it didn't really matter. I needed more information. And my priorities changed, the only place to find Mayler, would be out of the forest. Of cause I didn't know the way out of the forest, but I had to just guess. Than idea popped into my head.
"Shadows, can you lead the way out of here?" Nothing happened. "Shadows, do your magic trick again, lead the way out of the forest." Nothing happened again. "Shadows-"
But before I could continue, my voice stopped working, infact, my whole body stopped working. Well, that's a lie, it didn't 'stop working' it just started working out of my control. I was watching my entire body walk in a circle and then walk in the opposite directions then I expected.
The saying, someone walked over my grave, was an understatement. My body was cold and restless. Each of my uncontrollable movements were inconsistent and looked as though I was a stuttering robot. If my body was in my control then I would have been shivering, but instead it just continued to walk. Each step, looked painful, but I couldn't feel anything, except as though my stomachs had been twisted into a tight not. My back was to far stretched back and my ankle rolled over continuously.
It was getting colder by then second and my brain started to shiver, which made a huge wave like sound ring in my ears. It was becoming to much, I knew that if I didn't get my body back then I was going to die.
I fell. I grazed my knee, and suddenly I felt it. The world was spinning, like it does if you spin around in circles for over a minute. I tried to find my balance but some of my body was still stif and didn't want to work. I was back in control, but that didn't stop the fear.
I was about screem but it started all over again. It went cold. I heard whooshing noice in my ear. Everything went blurry and I started to watch my body move along without me.
I watched my body get up and turn around. I would like to say it was that easy but every movement looked as though it was from a old pixelate game. When I was up and facing the way my body wanted me to, I could see some blurry figure standing in front of me. I wanted to yell for help or run or just feel my body again but, I couldn't. For a second I felt my heart stop beating and was pretty confident that all my circulation was cut of.
Then I snapped back into consciousness. It was so sudden it was like having life pounded into you. I choked for a second while my lungs figured out there were beck in business.
As the world stopped spinning I noticed the figure in front of me started to look at me funny, it circled me as if I had stolen something that belonged to it. I felt a bit uncomfortable as how close we were, but that wasn't what the figure was concentrated on.
My through was dry but with a huge gulp, I tried to speak. "Who are you?" I muffled lowly.
Then the human looked at me in the eye. It wore pitch black glasses that looked as though they had been painted just to make sure no one saw its eyes. A navy hood covered its head but I could see large pink lips and pale skin. I assumed it was a girl based on her long black hair that sat stiffly in front of her tightly sipped up jacket. The jacket was clearly to big, as it hung just above her knees and I couldn't tell if she was wearing shoes or not based on the to long pants that flopped on the ground. Her face was round and her skin was smooth but what fought my eye, was this suspicious glow under her glasses. And blue light seemed to shine brightly just behind her thick glasses.
"I am one of you." She said tugging at my bright purple streak.
"A death rider?" She nods. "Where's your streak?"
She shakes the hair upon either side of her neck and out show three royal blue strips. Each one is mostly camouflaged into the black hair but that was probably an advantage.
"What are you doing in the forest?" She asked smoothly, barley moving her lips.
"Looking for my dragon." I muttered shyly mostly embarrassed.
"Well, your not going to find it here!" She said, it was almost as if she was excited but her face didn't change. Her mouth stayed as though she was upset and her cheeks didn't lift into a grin at all.
"Why not?" I questioned feeling as though this had just been some sort of trick or trap.
"Soul suckers are territorial." She stated bluntly. I stare at her confusedly. "A hypnosis dragon," I nod slightly. "They are territorial?" I nod again.
"Let me just grab Benabi, and I'll come and help you find your dragon." She states as she flicks her heel and starts walking. "I'm Jale by the way." She mutters.
