Ama POV

Sunday! We went to a church not far from here and I liked the church it was a nice white church. I ran downstairs expecting to smell pancakes. Instead, I didn't smell anything.
I tiptoed into my parent's bedroom and they were still asleep. Strange.
"Mom. Dad. It's a Sunday. We have to go to church."

I mean...you make us go every week so...

"Sweetie? Can you bring me a thermometer?" My mom mumbled.

Are they sick?!

I ran into their bathroom and found the thermometer. I gave my mom the thermometer and waited. It beeped, she looked, and she sighed.

Yup...she's sick.

"Could you clean off the thermometer and give it to me?" My dad asked.

Oh great. Not him too...

I did as he asked and gave him the thermometer. From the look on his face, I took it as he was sick as well.

"Do you want me to make you some food?" They both nodded and I ran downstairs to make toast and eggs.

"Why isn't mom and dad up?" Josie asked, rubbing her eyes. "Mom and dad are sick."
"They can't be sick! They're mom and dad!"

She does have a point

"Well until they get better, I am in charge. That means I have to watch you guys." The reaction I expected came. "What?! Why?!"
"Because. Mom and dad are sick. If I wasn't here you'd burn this place to the ground!"
Josie groaned and stomped back upstairs

Ugh, sisters...

I finished cooking the eggs and toasting the toast, and I brought my parents their breakfast in bed.
"Is there anything else you need me todo?" They shook their head and I left the room.

"Mom and dad are sick?" Dylan asked while eating his toast. "Yes. They are sick. So we aren't going to church. Unless you want to ask your friends to pick up." Dylan thought for a bit. "I guess we could have someone pick me up." "Bring Josie with you. I can't handle her. She is going to get on my nerves." Dylan nodded, "Do you want me to bring Judy too?" "Sure. Well if you guys are going to church you might want to get ready. I'll call your friends parents." I said. All of my siblings got up from the table and ran upstairs to get ready for church. Now I would get at least three hours to myself.

Dylan's friend's parents picked them all up. I decided to do a little bit of cleaning. I swept the kitchen floors and mopped, I vacuumed the living room and cleaned our bathroom upstairs. I decided to do a little bit of cleaning. I swept the kitchen floors and mopped, I vacuumed the living room and cleaned our bathroom upstairs. I went to go check in on my parents and they were fast asleep. I cleaned up all of their dishes that they left on the nightstand and put them in the dishwasher.

Now, what should I do?

I decided to watch a movie. Since there were no little kids around, I decided to watch Suicide Squad. Yes, I know. I don't know if I should watch Suicide Squad on a Sunday either, but I haven't watched the movie in a long time.

After the movie was done, it was lunchtime. I got some chicken noodle is canned soup out and heated it over the stove. There was enough for at least my mom and dad and me. While I was waiting for the soup to heat up, I started playing music through my headphones. I started dancing to the music like a crazy child. But no one was watching. So it was OK.
The soup heated up, and I came into my parent's bedroom to give them their soup. They were still asleep when I got in there so I quietly spoke to them. And it went something like this.
"Hey, mom. Dad. I have some lunch for you. If you're wondering where the kids are there at the church. Dylan's friends pick them up." My mom's eyes fluttered open. I gave her her soup and my dad woke up a few seconds afterward. I left them to eat their soup and decided to dish myself up some soup. After I ate my soup I noticed I was still in my clothes from the night before. I went upstairs and changed into a flowy crop top and white shorts. It was really hot outside and I was planning on doing some tumbling after lunch. I went into my parent's bedroom to get their dishes and put them in the dishwasher, and I was out the door to tumble.

I did a few routines, and then I started playing some music over the speakers outside and dance to that while making up a routine. I loved doing this during the summer. Josie, Judy and I always did this. An hour past and the kids should be home by this point. I ran inside to get a drink of water.

After I drained at least two water bottles, Dylan, Josie, and Judy came through the door. "Hey, guys! How was church?" "It was good as usual! What are you doing? It looks like you've been playing outside." Josie observed, "Yes, I was tumbling. Do you want to come and tumble with me?" Immediately Josie and Judy ran upstairs to go get changed. "Hey, Dylan. Do you want to come and join us?" I asked before we close the back door to our yard. He sighed and nodded. Dylan knows how to do quite a few tumbling tricks. I can do a cartwheel, back tuck, and a backhand spring. In my opinion, he's doing quite well.

After tumbling to a few songs, Dylan suggested we played tag. "Not it! Nose goes!" We are shouted at once. We all got around to see who is the last one who was not it. "Dylan. I think you're it." Josie said. Dylan didn't argue because he knew it was going to end up as him. He gave us 10 seconds to get far away from him.
He played tag for at least two hours. We all went inside to get ourselves some water and I checked on mom and dad. They were sleeping peacefully. They just looked so cute when they were asleep. All of us decided to watch a movie. Judy picked out to Zootopia. She loved Zootopia. Probably because of the fact that the main character was also named Judy. I made some popcorn for all of us to share and we settle down on the couch and watch the movie in the family living room.

It was nice spending time with my family. I hadn't spent time like this with my siblings in a long time. I was glad I got to spend time with them because I loved them dearly. I guess all the tumbling and tagging made all my siblings tired because they were fast asleep. They all look so relaxed and happy.

I got my iPhone out and took a quick picture. I was next to Dylan and he was next to Judy and then Josie.

Oh my gosh! They are so cute!!!

The day ended with a dinner another movie and then sleep.
