Ama POVI woke up the next morning not as sore as I was before, but I was still tired.
Thankfully I didn't need help getting up out of bed. I changed into one of my sweatshirts and skinny jeans. I looked through my notifications on my phone and I saw a text from Rachel.
Rachel: Fam!
Rachel: Text me back please!
Rachel: I have some big news!
Rachel: Wait. Actually. I'll tell you later.
Read 6:45amRachel: You read it!
Rachel: Don't leave me on open!
Oh Rachel...
Ama: What is it?
Rachel: I'm so excited!
Ama: What are you excited about?
Rachel: You'll see!
Ama: Okay. See ya at cheer.
Rachel: Ok...hehehehhe

I ran down stairs to get breakfast ready.
...
Ok if you reallt want to know...I almost fell down the stairs. But that's better than yesterday!
"Well someone's up early!" My mom said walking into the kitchen. "Don't you have that geography project today?"
"Oh yeah."
I hate projects.
"So you and Hayden are good friends?" Mom asked
"Yeah."
"He seems nice."
"He is. But he doesn't have many friends there. I mean he would if he accept them he would have the whole school."
"Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable around people."
"Yeah. He doesn't-can't talk."
"Can he talk?"Uh...
"No. I don't know why. Maybe he was born that way."
"Maybe."My dad came in and kissed my mom.
Awwww! But at the same time. You nasty.
"Good morning. Mandi."
"Hey, dad."
"You have cheer tonight right?"
"Yeah."
"Oh. I won't see you when you get back anyways."
"Why? Where are you going this time?"
"New York."
"OOOHHHH! NEW YORK?! I've always wanted to go there!"When I was younger I traveled to New York with my aunts and uncles. But I was too young to remember.
"I want to go so badly!" I said, trying to calm down.
"Well. Maybe we could go this summer." My dad suggested
"Oh my gosh! Yes! Please, mom! It'll be so much fun! I'd love to go!"
"We'll see, Ams. But eat your food. Summer just ended, so it's a long ways away." Mom said.
I want to go...
~~~
I was one of the first ones on the bus and I sat in my usual spot. Then my mind went to the project I'd be doing in an hour.
