Ama POV
It's Sunday! That means we have church today. The problem is, I don't know what to wear. It seems like I've worn every single outfit so many times to church, but I don't remember what I wore 2 week. " Josie!" Josie was the fashionista of the family. You would think I would have a good sense of style, but Josie sense of style is much better. "Yes?" She popped her head around the door. "Help me decide what to wear."
"Oh my gosh! For once can you pick out your own clothes?"
"Rude. No help me pick out my clothes. You always help me, why today any different?"
"Well do you know who's going to be there?"
"No. I forgot. We weren't there last week for announcements."
"The Bryans!"
"What?!"
"Yeah! We're moving back here! Do you know who's going to be there?"
"Maybe."
"Lucas."Oh I remember it perfectly. Lucas was one of my first crushes. We've been friends since we were children. He was a football player, and I was a cheerleader. Typical teen romance novel. I never knew if he liked me back.
"Well if he's coming. That's more of a reason why you should help me plan out my outfit." Finally Josie gave in and she helped me pick out an outfit. I curled my hair and applied a thin coat of mascara.
"All right everyone! Get into the car! One, two, three, four, all right we have everyone let's go!" Mom said.
The whole way there my mind was flooded by all the memories that Lucas and I shared together. He was in the same neighborhood as us and we used to play every single day. When I was eight him and his family had to move to California for his dad's work. I haven't seen him since. I got all jittery. What will you look like? He's most likely going to be taller than me. Is he still as cute as he was? Ha. Of course he will be.
I got out of the car, and Josie and Dylan had their regular race to the church doors. I didn't participate this time, my mind was somewhere else. We were having a meal after church so I help my mom carry in the dishes. "Are you excited?" "Yeah. But I'm kind of nervous."
"Don't be. When we all have someone we like, we will always feel nervous and excited, but don't let that get in the way of your confidence."We went to the sanctuary and found our regular pew.
I am way too nervous. Calm yourself Ama. You're overreacting.
I was so into my overreacting that I forgot he had a sister! She was around my age, I think her name was Sarah. I never got to see her much, she was always in the hospital. She was always sick and she could never come to school. She didn't do tumbling but I told her everything I knew. She fantastic at it.
"Ama-bug?" I heard a deep voice ask. I turned around to face none other than Lucas. He hadn't changed a bit. He still had those gorgeous greenish gray eyes his perfect smile it is beautiful dirty brown hair. everyone said that we look like twins, sometimes I seriously think that we are twins. "Lucas!" "Ama! You've grown up!" "You have to! You're like, what? 6"1?" "Ha! Close. 6"3."
What the-
"Really? You're so tall. Do you still play football?" "Yeah, I do. Do you still do tumbling and cheering?" "You bet I do!" we started laughing a bit.
"Ama?" A girl ask. I turned around in there was Sarah! "Sarah! It's so good to see you!" I hugged her and she hugged me back. She was one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. She had this beautiful brown red hair and these big brown eyes. "It's been forever!" "I know right!" We both chatted forever. I felt bad for Lucas, because he was just standing there watching us freak out. Soon church started so we had to sit down.

All the kids gathered at one table. Tables were lined up for a buffet style meal. "OK! We have to get caught up. So tell me what it's like in California." I said, waiting for people to go through the line. "It was really busy there. We made a few friends. The beaches there are amazing." Sarah said. "So where have you been doing, Ama?" Lucas asked. "Oh not much. I've had school, tumbling, cheer competition tryouts, and just yesterday I got a skateboard!" Lucas was the first one who introduced me to skateboarding. He was the one who taught me. He always knew I wanted my own skateboard, because I would not stop talking about it.
"Really? Maybe sometime we could go skating." "Yeah."
"What about you Sarah? What have you been doing?" Sarah looked up. "Oh!Me? Ha ha. Well I've been recently playing that piano. I've mostly been doing music things." Sarah's piano was her pride and joy. Before they left she try to teach me a little bit of piano, but it didn't work. I didn't even know a single piece of music. "What kind of music do you like to listen to?" I asked. "Don't get me started." She laughed. After we all ate, we all headed out to the playground and football field. "Ama, you still play football?" "Of course I do." For the next hour we were playing football and doing flips, cartwheels, backhand springs, Ect.
"Kids! It's time to go home!" My mom shouted from the car , loading dishes. "Aw! Do you have to go?" Lucas said like a little kid. "Well are you going to live in your old house? Remember we only live a few houses away." That is true." We both laughed for a bit.
Dylan POV
For the past hour we've been playing football. When her mom called us to get to the car I noticed that Lucas and Ama may have some kind of connection. "Hey, Sarah. Look at those two." We both stared at them. "Yup, I ship it." "You what?"
Ama POV

Lucas POV
I'm so glad I get to see Ama bug again! Yes. Ama bug is her nickname. I am very anxious about school. Ama hasn't changed a bit, but something about makes me think I should be prepared for something.
I am lying on my bed listening to my sister play her music through speakers in her bedroom. I'm still unpacking in my room hasn't changed a bit.All I got to say is, it's good to be home.
