*alarm goes off.
"ughhh..." i drug out as i throw a pillow at my face.
"i'm so tired." i said as i shut my alarm off.
my name is ariana grier and today is my first day at East Wood HighSchool. i'm super scared because, this is a huge school and i don't know anyone there. except for my older brother Nash Grier, but he's a senior so i'm not sure how often i'll see him since i'm a junior.
i went to my bathroom and washed my face and brushed my hair. i straightened my dark brown hair that stopped around the middle of my back.
i went to my closet and grabbed a maroon crop top and my black high waisted skirt that stopped just before my knees. i put on my black flats then went back to the bathroom to do my makeup. i put on light makeup and ran down stairs to see nash waiting by the door. he dressed himself fairly nice, but he usually was always dressed nice. he had khaki skinny jeans on and a black v-neck hollister shirt with his vans on.
"ready?" he asked.
"not entirely, but sure." i said with a sigh.
nash had been here over the summer with my dad, who lived here before we moved here. our parents got a divorce when i was about 5, my dad had a drinking problem and she couldn't handle it anymore, so we moved from stockton, to san diego. then he moved here. so nash decided to come up here over the summer, so i suppose he has some friends.
"so, did you make any friends over the summer that go to east wood?" i asked as i got in my seat.
"yeah actually.. Matthew, Cameron, Taylor, and Shawn." he said.
"are they all your age?" i asked.
"uh, cameron and taylor are. but shawn and Matt are both juniors." he said.
i lightly smiled and he glanced over at me.
"no big ideas, little girl." he said.
"i don't have any big ideas!!" i said and threw my hands up.
we laughed and he turned his attention back to the road ahead of us.
about 15 minutes later, we arrived at school. i saw several cars parked everywhere, and kids over populating the school.
"wow, a lot of kids here." i whispered.
"that's LA for you." nash said as he got out and headed towards the school.
i quickly got out and ran to catch up to him.
"don't leave me!" i said as i walked on his side.
we headed to the office and got our schedules and other important information.
"hey, i'm gonna go find my friends." nash said looking around.
"well, can i come with you? i don't wanna get lost in this zoo." i said.
he sighed.
"i guess.. come on." he said and started walking.
we turned several corners and went up at least 3 flights of stairs before running into his group of friends.
they all did little hand shakes and made small talk. i heard one guy ask about me.
"oh, her? this is my sister ariana. she's a junior." he said pointing at me.
they all waved at me and i waved back with a smile.
"ariana this is cameron, matt, taylor, and shawn." he said pointing to each guy as he said their names.
"i'm ariana." i said softly and smiled.
"well ari, can i call you ari?" matt asked.
"uh, sure!" i said.
"ok cool, well since you're a junior, you probably have the same classes as me. i can take you to class if you want?" he asked.
"i uh, let me check my schedule." i said nervously.
i unfolded my paper and checked.
"i have english first." i said.
"hey! me too!" shawn spoke up.
i looked over at him, i hadn't paid much attention to him before, but boy i'm glad i am now. his face was absolutely beautiful, his dark brown hair matched with the dark brown color of his eyes, and his smile, to die for.
my face immediately turned pink from me realizing how long i'd been staring.
i looked down and bit my lip trying to hide the embarrassment.
"i can take you? the bells about to ring anyways." he said with a smile.
"id love that." i said.

duuudddeeee i hope i don't ruin this story, i have a great plan for it but knowing me i'll completely ruin it.
