Ariana's POV:

ian. it was ian.

"shit, shawn ian is over there. we can't go any closer." i said pulling him back.

he turned around and we started walking back towards the car, then he stopped me.

"ari, stay right there!" he said and ran towards his car.

i laughed at leaned against one of the little palm trees down by the beach.

he came running down with his guitar.

"i wanna sing you something." he said.

i smiled big time.

"ok." i replied.

*lets pretend he sings summertime sadness ok? ok!

i sat there, so amazed. he is SO talented it's unreal.

"shawn, that was amazing." i said as i was still in shock.

he smiled and looked down.

"you think so?" he asked.

"i know so! you're so talented!" i said and wrapped him in a big hug.

"thank you so much, it means a lot to me." he said as he hugged me back.

-

"ok, am i taking you to your house?" shawn asked me.

"i guess so.. unless sadie is there, then i'll go find somewhere else to stay." i said and rolled my eyes. i cant stand her.

"you can come to my place?" he said.

"oh, ok." i said.

for some reason i felt nervous. i honestly don't know why, i had no reason to be?

he put his hand on my thigh, causing my breath to hitch.

he laughed a little at my reaction.

"you're nervous." he said and looked over at me.

"no i'm not." i lied.

"you are." he said.

i took a deep breath.

"yes, i am. but i don't really understand why." i said.

"are you overthinking things?" he asked.

"no, i just work myself up over nothing. i seem to do that a lot." i said and looked out the window.

-

we arrive to his house and no ones home.

"shawn why isn't anyone ever at your house?" i asked with a laugh.

"oh, my parents and aaliyah went to a concert thing tonight. i'm not sure when they'll be home or if they're coming home tonight. it was up in sacramento." he said.

"oh, well that's kind of far." i said as we walked into the house.

we sat on the couch watching TV for a while. shawn pulled the whole "oh i'm tired so i'm gonna accidentally wrap my arm around your shoulder" thing. i got a laugh out of it.

but shawn really did seem to be getting tired, his eyes were getting heavy and he leaned against my shoulder. i was wide awake though, i don't know why.

"baby, do you wanna go to bed?" i asked him and played with his hair.

"if you're not tired it's fine." he said. i could hear the tired in his voice, and lowkey it was attractive.

"don't worry about me. come on, let's go." i said and pulled him off the couch.

we walked upstairs and he flopped on his bed.

"why am i so tired?" he mumbled into the pillows.

"hey, have i left any sweats or anything here?" i asked.

"just sleep in one of my shirts." he said.

"its fine, i can sleep in this." i said. why did i say that?

"please.." he said and sat up.

i laughed a little.

"ok." i said.

he walked to his dresser and threw me a shirt. i walked into the bathroom and put it on.

"shawn, do you have any new toothbrushes?" i asked.

"under the sink!" he said.

i looked under and grabbed one of the toothbrushes from out of the package and brushed my teeth. i threw my long hair in a ponytail and walked out to see shawn shirtless. it still messes me up every time. daaammmnnn.

"take a picture, it lasts longer." he said and winked.

"oh shut up." i said.

"you shut up." he added.

"make me!" i said in a childish voice.

"ok." he said.

i looked at him weirdly.

"it might make you moan a little." he mumbled.

"shawn oh my god!" i laughed and felt my face grow red.

he started laughing so hard, i couldn't help but laugh as well. i put my face in my hands as i laughed.

"you're gonna be getting payback mendes." i said.

"hit me with your best shot, Ms.Grier." he smirked.

i walked over to him and pushed him down so he was lying on his back.

"how far is this gonna go?" he asked with a smirk on his face again.

i shook my head and started tickling him.

he immediately bursted into a fit of laughter.

"ariana! stop!" he yelled as he became weak from laughing.
