"now my presents are gonna seem lame!" i said and laughed a little.
"i 100% doubt that." he said and flopped on the couch.
"ok, i'll be right back." i said and ran upstairs
i got him Ed Sheeran's new album divide on a vinyl thanks to some of the connections i have, and i got him this watch he has technically been drooling over.
i went back downstairs and handed him his presents. he opened them and i swear i've never seen him so excited.
"what! you did not just do this!" he said as his smile grew bigger than i've ever seen.
i smiled and put my hand on his knee.
"maybe they're not that lame?" i asked.
"i wh- you ju- i ca- this is amazing!" he stuttered.
i laughed and hugged him.
"i'm glad you like them." i said.
"like? i love them!" he said as he kept looking at them.
he put his watch on and set the time.
"i feel like ben 10. pew!" he said as he aimed his watch at me.
i swear i'm dating a 18 year old who is mentally 5.
oh yes! shawn's birthday was a few days ago. that went really well, he had a good time. so did i!
i laughed and shook my head.
"you are something else."
"hey! get dressed, we're going to lunch babe." he said.
"lunch? it's morning?" i said confused.
"ariana, its 11:45. you slept half the day." he said seriously.
"oops?" i laughed.
"whatever, go get dressed!" he said and pushed me towards the stairs.
"i'm going i'm going!" i said.

i picked out my plain black dress with my tan thigh length cardigan and my black heels. i put my natural hair in a half ponytail and let my bangs do whatever. i put some mascara and coverup on with some nude colored lipgloss and sprayed a little perfume on before going back downstairs.
"i'm ready!" i said as shawn jumped off the couch.
*phone rings
"instagram: shawnmendes tagged you in a photo!"
i looked up at shawn to see him smiling. i opened up my phone and went to instagram.

"you're too sweet." i said and smiled at him.
"and i'm hungry, let's go!" he said as he ran to the front door.
"and by the way, you look incredibly gorgeous ariana." he said as he watched me walk to the door.
"thank you shawn, you look ok i guess." i joked.
"ok? i look ok?" he asked.
"yeah i mean, that shirt would look better on the floor." i said and winked at him.
"what a dirty young lady, i am telling your father!" he said.
"you wouldn't." i said.
"and you're right on that one." he said and looked at the ground.
i laughed and walked out to his car.
