She stands there from the balcony of her house. The warm summer breeze blows through her hair. The long brown strands of natural curls flow behind her face. Her strong light brown skin glowed in the sun, her soft pink lips remained still, and her expression was hard. It's as if she wasn't happy. She was way to beautiful to be unhappy. I continued to snap shots of my neighbor Diana, hoping to get a smile. Nothing. What is it about this woman that makes me feel eager to know her? Could I be falling for something I can't have? I don't know.

I had just got my photography business in full swing. I can tell you it was not easy. I had to work with several newspapers and magazines to create a name for myself. I'm now one of the highest paid photographers in Chicago. What can I say? I have an eye for beauty. I don't always snap pictures of starving models, famous actors, or goverment officials. I dig deeper than that. The world is filled with lots of beautiful things that the eye refuses to admire. Put it in a magazine people go nuts.

I decided to move out of this city and live in a nice house surrounded by grass, trees, friendly neighboors, and serenity. A great place called suburbia. I can relax with ease on my own front porch, sipping a nice glass of ice tea, and look over my work. Without dealing with hearing gunshots, roaring traffic, and screaming drama from neighbors. I like peace and quite so don't judge. I had just place the final payment for this goregous blue and white two story house. 5 bedroom 4.5 bath, outdoor pool, large front porch, and fenced in yard. It was perfect. The neighborhood seem nice as I looked around. The movers had just finished putting down the couch in the livingroom. I tipped them nicely and sent them on their way. I removed the plastic from the couch and plopped down. Yes! Home at last.

I spent nearly the entire night unpacking the house. By six o'clock in the morning I past out on my bed. I slept for a good 5 hours until a knock came at my door. Must be my assistant. She does know there is no work today because I said so. I opened the door and there stood a lovely middle aged couple standing at my door. The wife was holding a large basket filled with muffins, danishes, and cookies. They looked homemade. "Hello, I'm Gwen and this is my husband Joseph. We live right across from you and notice you were new to the neighborhood. I made this basket of goodies to welcome you." said the woman smiling. I smiled at her and took the basket. "Ah, thank you so much." I replied. "If you need anything just let us know." said Joseph. "Uh, yeah will do. Appreciate it." "And if you would like to come to our neighborhood cook out tomorrow at 12pm feel free to stop on by. Free of charge." added Gwen. "Okay sounds good." "Well, you have yourself a nice day. Bye." They walked away waving and I closed the door. I looked down at the basket and smiled. "Breakfast is served."
