Charlotte

Chapter Four

They did many tests to see what was wrong, they had gotten the results, and came back to tell Charlotte. "Ms. Whitemoon... You're pregnant." She was shocked, he actually did it this time. According to Charlotte Alecai has been trying to get her pregnant but it just wouldn't happen. She was so happy now, but what would she tell Alecai. The doctor went to go get him to tell him I was awake.

Alecai rushed in, "Charlotte.." She smiled faintly, and held his hand. "Alecai there's something I need to tell you." Alecai didn't care what she had to say right now, all he wanted was to know she was safe and alright. "Whatever it is, it can wait until we get home." Charlotte got dressed and walked with Alecai to check out. Charlotte couldn't believe that Alecai wouldn't let her speak, and it was very important.

They arrived home and Charlotte got out of the car first. She went inside and Alecai went after her, "Charlotte!!!?" He shouted, then Charlotte slammed the bedroom door and locked it. Alecai ran upstairs, "Charlotte please open the door... I just want to talk to you." Charlotte yelled, "LEAVE ME ALONE! YOU WOULDN'T EVEN LET ME EXPLAIN WHAT I NEEDED TO TELL YOU!!!" Alecai was shocked, Charlotte didn't usually act like this. Charlotte was in the bathroom taking a pregnancy test, and no doubt about it, it was positive.

Charlotte was so happy, but clearly Alecai was not or something was wrong with him. "Charlotte, baby. I promise I'll let you explain, just let me in." Charlotte was afraid of him, but she let him anyway, trying to see if he would let her explain. He came in so roughly and pushed her against the wall, his hands tightly around her wrists. "What the fuck is wrong with you? You've been acting like a bitch since we've gotten home." Charlotte had tears in her eyes.

"Alecai... Please stop. Y-you're hurting me.." Alecai didn't care. "ALECAI! STOP IT!!!" Alecai let go of her wrists and she fell to the floor. Alecai didn't realize what he did because he went into his overprotective side. He noticed Charlotte crying and the bruises starting to form on her wrists. He got down and comforted her. "I'm sorry... I was worried something happened to you.." Charlotte wanted to pull away but to hurt to try.

Charlotte thought that now would be a good time to tell Alecai, "Alecai ?" Alecai looked at her, "Hmm?" She was nervous on how he would react, but she went for it, "I-I-I.... I'm pregnant." Alecai took it by surprise, he was happy, "Finally. After all this time." They both kissed each other, they couldn't believe they were going to have a child.

Nine months had passed and it was time for Charlotte to give birth. They went to the hospital and that's when her water broke. She was going into labor. They got to the hospital in time and then they rushed her to the ER. She gave birth within an hour, and she had a healthy baby girl. Alecai had been by her side every step of the way, and was so happy to see his wonderful little girl.

"Name ?" The nurse asked. Charlotte and Alecai had agreed to one name for months. "Her name is Kora Marie Silverlight." They smiled, while Charlotte had Kora in her arms. She had been asleep the whole time she was left in the room with them. Soon it was time for Charlotte to take Kora home. Alecai had everything done and set up before it was time for Charlotte and the baby to come home. There was nursery for the child and there were many clothes and diapers, etc.

Alecai picked up Charlotte and the baby to take home. Alecai took Kora and put her into the car seat he bought. "Thank you for doing this, babe." He nodded, he couldn't have said so himself. They would take care of her together, and wouldn't let anyone or anything hurt their child. "We need to tell your mom, Alecai." He looked down, his mother would've never let him have this baby. "I think it's best we keep her a secret, say she's an adoptive." Charlotte was shocked.

"Alecai we can't lie. At least tell her we have a child." Alecai nodded, "Fine, but because I don't want to see you hurt." Alecai left the house and went to his own where his mother sat on the couch. "Alecai?" He replied, "Yes." He walked over to his mother, he wasn't sure how he wanted to explain that he and Charlotte had a baby together. "Mother, there is something I need to tell you." Jasmine was confused, she hadn't known about what the two of them have been up to for months. "Mother... I have a child." Jasmine was shocked. "WHAT!?" She pushed Alecai out of the way and head to Charlotte's home.

"MOM! STOP!" Alecai went after his mother. Charlotte heard someone barge in and so she went to put Kora in her crib where no one would find her. "Charlotte!! Run!" Alecai trying to protect her, she saw Jasmine and noticed how furious she looked. "No more running, Alecai..." She sighed and let out a whisper, "Let her go...." Alecai was mad now, but let Jasmine go. Jasmine went right for her. Charlotte was hit and fell backwards hitting her head. "Charlotte! Not again.." He ran towards Charlotte, and held her close to his chest. He took her to the medical room in the house. He grabbed bandages and wrapped her head, then grabbed an ice pack and placed it on her head.

"Look what you've done?!" Alecai looked at his mother disappointed, and Charlotte began to wake up. "W-what happened?" Alecai held her hand, and explained. It didn't sound like her at all, but she couldn't remember that. "Alecai... Where's Kora?" He told her she was in her crib, and she nodded. Charlotte decided to rest and go to sleep. Alecai never left her.

Later that night when the house was quiet and no one but Alecai, Charlotte, and Kora were there, they could sleep in peace. Early the next morning Charlotte was up making breakfast, she decided to make bacon and pancakes, She also opened a can of baby food for Kora. When Charlotte went to go get Kora, she noticed that Kora was bigger than she was yesterday.

Charlotte went to Alecai, "Alecai... Get up, come see Kora, she's bigger than she was yesterday." Alecai got up and went with Charlotte to see. "Is that supposed to happen?" She wasn't sure, but she went downstairs and then got on her laptop to do some research on this. She typed in specific keywords, 'Growing wolf children.' Quite a lot of things popped up, she clicked the website that had information in the website name.

It explained that children who are born part wolf tend to grow fast then regular children. Some children who are born more human than wolf grow less constantly than those born more wolf. Now it was clear to Charlotte why Kora was growing so fast. "Hmm... It says here that she will stop growing so quickly when she reaches the height of 48 inches." She realized by then she'll be the height of a four year old.

Well now she was concerned, but she knew that by then she'll progress to grow like a normal child. It also said that when wolf children do this they learn to speak clearer than they did before. "DADDY!!!!!" She heard a little girl yelling, it had to be Kora. Alecai went into her room, "Kora?! Charlotte come up here!" Charlotte went upstairs and saw that Kora was bigger and she was talking very clear. "Alecai, it's okay. It's meant to happen because she was born more wolf than human. So her blood flow is a lot like ours." Alecai was surprised, "Well if you say so."

Weeks had passed and Kora finally stopped growing so fast. Her speech was excellent, and she could eat table food. Kora was such a happy little girl. Charlotte had put Kora into piano lessons, and she has been playing the piano perfectly for the last three weeks, and she's learned so much so quickly.

Alecai and Charlotte couldn't believe that their little darling had grown up so fast and learned so easily and quickly. Charlotte had gotten a phone call from a private number, but she answered anyway. "Ello?", someone responded with the name of Amanda. "Yes, this is she." The person on the phone suddenly hung up, "Well that was strange."

Charlotte decided not to let it get to her, so she went to make dinner. "Mommy!!" Charlotte heard Kora's call and rushed to her. "What is it my dear?" Kora looked at her mother, "Daddy wants you, he's upstairs." Charlotte nodded and headed towards their bedroom, she closed the door and locked it.

On the other hand, Kora got tired and went to  her room closing the door to take a nap.

"Yes, my love ?" Alecai grabbed her by the waist and pulled her onto the bed.  He was acting stranger than he normally is. "Well, well, well... What do we have here ?" Charlotte noticed this wasn't who he really was. She struggled to get away from his grip, but it was too tight. "You're not going anywhere this time. You're mine!" He gave her a smirk.

He undressed Charlotte only leaving her under garments on. He got a whip and started hitting her with it. She screamed, "ALECAI!!!! STOP IT!!!" Alecai zoned out and stopped. Charlotte got up and got dressed. Weeks passed by and now there were scars on her stomach and her waist.

Charlotte went into the bathroom and closed the door. She turned on the shower to completely hot water. She got in and then turned the water down a little so it wasn't so hot. She finished up and got out drying herself off. She dropped the towel to get dressed, and that's when Alecai saw her scars. He walked in as she got dressed, "Where did you get those?" Charlotte ignored him and finished getting dressed, she left the bathroom pushing past him and going to lay down in the bed.
