Friday, chapter, you know the deal...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the morning of the day of Taylor's party, the singer woke up quite early. She still had a lot of preparation to do. It started with leaving her house early to go to the grocery store, so that not too many people would recognize her.
It wasn't like she didn't like meeting her fans. But sometimes it was a little too stressful for the singer. Sometimes she needed the peace of being alone.
Of course she got still weird looks and someone even asked for an autograph, but at least that was it. Well. If you ignore the paparazzi that were constantly waiting outside her door.
She enjoyed the "privacy". She even gave that man, that couldn't stop staring at her, a warming smile, as she darted through the lines of various groceries. She stuffed some flour and some funfetti for the cake into the shopping cart and walked over to the finger food to get some chips.
She would have thought that, after all the years, she would have become used to it, but for some reason the constant attention still made her feel uncomfortable and exhausted.
After that she went for some paper plates and plastic cups. And the beverages, of course.
She wondered what Karlie was doing right now? Was she still asleep? Was she making herself some breakfast?
Suddenly the singer turned pale.
She didn't have any vegan food besides some vegetables and maybe various nuts at home. Would the model even have something to eat for breakfast? What do vegans even eat?
At Karlies home it had been easier. Since the brunette was the one who went shopping, she only had foods at her house that she would also eat. Because of this Taylor never paid much attention to what Karlie consumed. But now the tables were turned. Now she was the one shopping for the two.
She got out her phone and opened safari in an attempt to find out what she could by for the vegan via Google, but suddenly she hesitated.
Why did she even care? The model didn't like her anyway. There was no point in doing her a favor. She would only end up make fun of the singer. It wasn't worth it. All she owed Karlie was money and she made sure to keep it simple.
With that thought in mind, Taylor went straight towards the check stand.
--
Taylor stood in her kitchen and stirred the ingredients for her funfetti cake. Next to her was her white kitten detective Olivia Benson, who crazily ran around the kitchen island.
"What's wrong with you Dibbles?", she asked her. Olivia had been like this the whole day. Running around crazily. The cat never seemed to get tired. At least today.
The kitten just stayed quiet. But what do you expect from a cat? A nice conversation?
Taylor just sighed as the cat, once again crashed with a quiet "bonk" into one of her cupboards.
"You know, Liv. If you weren't a cat, I would assume that you're drunk.", Taylor continued the one-sided conversation. "But I guess that's not really a possibility."
Olivia just stumbled around, looking even more drunk than before, like she wanted to prove that Taylor's assumption wasn't correct.
Taylor shook her head. "What a crazy cat you just are."
Suddenly the singer could hear loud footsteps walking towards the kitchen. It was Karlie who went to the fridge to get some orange juice to drink.
The brunette didn't even look at Taylor as she walked trough the kitchen and pulled out a glass of one of the blondes cupboards.
