Well today's the day, I thought in my head. I was moving to Mooresville, North Carolina, and leaving everything I loved behind. So what I won't have any friends there, I'll just hang with my dogs.
"Let's get going Ryan!", My mom called from the car. I slowly dragged myself into the green Ford Explorer and sighed when I sat down. While we drove off I looked out the passenger window saying goodbye to everything I know and love.
The airport was packed and I was hoping that something would hold me back from leaving Pennsylvania. Sadly we were able to safely get aboard the plane. Holding back the tears I said goodbye to my home state, for the last time.
I sat on the plane thinking about how I would decorate my new room and wishing there was a way to go home. My Dad and brother had already arrived in North Carolina with our furniture and dogs two days ago, and the house was set up.
Finally the plane had landed, but I didn't want to get off. My sister and mother practically had to pry me off the plane. I wasn't ready, not yet, not today. Next stop is my
new "home".
