Chapter 15

After a full day the lake Hayes and I went to the lake house to get ready for the party in a bit. I quick jumped in the shower and got out to focus on my hair. Hayes hopped in a different shower while I worked on my hair. Blow dry hair, then straighten it, and make up; my everyday schedule. I was blow drying my hair when I felt arms wrap around my waist. I looked at Hayes in the mirror and smiled at him. He was wrapped in a towel and had wet hair. "Come on we don't have time to fool around right now." I said and smiled at him.

"Fine. Stay cute okay?" I gave him a sarcastic half smile. Hayes walked off into his room and I continued to blow dry my hair. After 30 minutes of blow drying, I moved on to straightening my hair. Sadly I'm cursed with frizzy and wavy hair, so it takes extra long for my hair to be presentable. Once my hair was done I moved onto makeup and finished with a record of 10 minutes.

I took my shorts that I wore to the lake and put them on. I checked the spare clothes bag that mom made Jake being to me for bras, panties, and a cute top. Luckily all that was covered. I picked a cute white crop top to wear to the party. When I was set to go I went to Hayes's room. He was putting on his shoes. He was wearing shorts that went to his knees and a tank top.

"Are you ready?" I asked. "Ry, I've been waiting for you to be ready for the past 45 minutes." he laughed. "Do you know if Nash an Jake are going." I asked.

"I think they are. We should get them and head down to the party." Hayes suggested. We went to the lake house living room to find Nash and Jake waiting dressed and ready to go to the party. "Are you two ladies ready to go?" Nash asked.

"Very funny Nash. Lets get going. I don't want to be too late." Hayes said back at Nash. Nash texted Elizabeth to tell her we were heading to the party. "She knows the people throwing the party so she won't care." Nash said to Jake.

Hayes and I walked hand in hand to the end of the lake while the sun was setting. He pushed my hair out of my face and gave me a quick kiss. We had a little bit to go when we started to hear the music pounding. The lake was even shaking to the beat. "This party looks amazing." I said excitedly.

Once we arrived at the house we all got into a circle and talked. "Okay, Ryan your new to this life I'm going to explain the rules. Elizabeth will not come here unless I don't text back so don't worry about that. Now number one rule if you see me or anybody else here doing something they shouldn't keep it to yourself; join in if you want to." Nash said. I nodded my head an gave a half smile to Hayes. "Alright guys well see you guys around 1:00am when we leave." Nash said then walked away with Jake.

"Are you okay with this? I forgot to tell you and I didn't know if you were comfortable with it." Hayes asked with concern. I just laughed at Hayes."I'm totally comfortable with it. I didn't know you were if I did the other night you were over I would've offered some." I said to Hayes.

First thing we did when we got in the house was grab a drink. Everyone had red cups filled with some type of alcohol. Hayes and I both filled up our cup and found a place to sit. "So last night together upsetting right." I said looking at my cup. "Yeah, but we can make it count." He put down his cup and took mine out of my hand. He laid me down on the couch and stared kissing my neck. Just then a bunch of people walked by yelling with their drunken slurs. "GGehht somE littlles BUddy." He whispered in my ear "later. Now lets get to some games."

We got up and went to a table outside where a girl was yelling. "Alright, new teams for beer pong. Get to an end of the table if your in." Hayes and I got to one side of the table and at the other end Nash and a blonde was standing. "Ryan? Your playing?" He called from the end of the table. "I bet you didn't know I was a pro back in Pen." I called back. The girl yelled again "Let's get this game started." Hayes had the first shot and sinked it in. Nash took the first cup and drank it. About 10 minutes later it was down to 1 cup on both sides. I had the last shot, and I sinked it in. Hayes and I high fived as we watched Nash take the last drink. He came over to us and gave us a high five. "Well Ry, I didn't know you and Hayes had it in you. Nice job."

Hayes and I went down to the dock by the end of the lake. It was quieter there. I put my toes in the water and laid down to look up at the moon. "Hayes." I said. "What?" he said in a raspy voice. "We should get going its 12:30 and were gonna leave soon." I said. "Yeah Nash and Jake are probably by the front waiting for us."

We walked to the front of the house to find the boys. We were all buzzed but not to badly. "Jake did you know Ryan was amazing at beer pong." Nash said. I looked at Jake to see his facial expression. "Nash, she would beat all my friends in Penn." I laughed.

Once we got to Haye's lake house we saw Elizabeth and Johnny packing the car. Skylnn was fast asleep in her car seat. Hayes and I piled in the back seat and Nash and Jake hopped in the seats in front of us. I rested my head on Hayes's neck and fell asleep.
