New start in Mooresville||A Hayes Grier Fan Fic

Chapter 13

My jaw dropped and a tear seeped out of my eye. "Leaving...North Carolina? For good?" I asked holding back an outburst of tears.

He leaned forward and whipped the tear off my cheek."No not forever, just a month or two. It's still awhile and ill be missing you like crazy." he said looking at the grass.

"So what's gonna happen to us? I mean like do we go long distance or do we just separate until you get back?"I said.

"Well either one could work, but I hate option number two." Hayes said.

"Why are you leaving for a bit anyway." I never really thought about him leaving before. To me he's just a regular guy with a vine account.

"It's kinda for the Magcon Tour and also to see Will, my older bother that plays for the Florida gators. I'll be staying by will at a hotel with Nash. Plus Magcon is going to Orlando at the end of that month so my mom said it was best just to stay there." hayes explained.

I didn't exactly know what to say. My boyfriend, who has more than a million fans, is leaving me here for a month. "So when do you leave."

"Tomorrow...I just found out I was gonna be there for more than a month this morning." he said slowly.

"We'll let's make this last day together count." I said in a sad sigh. "Get your bathing suit on and meet me in my pool."

I gave Hayes a quick kiss on the cheek before going inside to get my bathing suit on. I trudged up the stairs and walking to my room where I rummaged through my drawer to find my favorite bathing suit. It was a hot pink, strapless fringe suit. After putting on my bathing suit I grabbed two Mountain Dews for Hayes and I. I could see Hayes standing by the side of the pool from my kitchen. I walked out side and handed him the soda.

"Here ya go. WOAHHHH." I yelled as I crashed into the water. Hayes was holding on to me while we sank to the bottom of the pool. As quick as possible I swam to the surface to breathe. Seconds later Hayes joined me.

"What the hell was that for." I yelled

Hayes just smiled and shook his head. He swam to the shallow end of the pool, and I followed him.

"Hey, I still don't have an answer." I said in a sassy tone.

Hayes picked me up facing him. I wrapped my legs around his waist and put my arms around his neck. He pushed his lips up against me and held me by my back.

"Does that answer your question." he said while grinning.

"Not really but i'll accept it." I said smirking. We got out if that pool and got in some chairs to tan. Before getting comfortable I put on some music and let it blare thru-out the neighborhood. We laid in our chairs, hand in hand, enjoying our last few moments that we'd have for a while.

We stayed outside until 3:00 when we decided to go into town and get lunch together. While walking into town he took a picture of us. The picture was beautiful, he took it at the perfect moment. The sun reflected on my brown hair and I was laughing and holding hands with Hayes. He was also laughing and looking at me. He tweeted the photo.

Finally, instead of my twitter blowing up with death threats, it was his fans wishing our relationship good luck.

Once we were in town we went to a Taco Bell and got some burritos, tacos, and some Mountain Dew icees. We sat in a both next to each other and ate our food. During the middle of our Taco Bell Elizabeth called Hayes. He picked up the phone and started talking to his mom. While he was on the phone I check my twitter mentions. All of his fans were being so nice.

Hayes came back to the booth and sat down. "So my parents are heading to the lake. They wanted to know if you wanted to go with us."

"Yes! I love the lake. Let me text my mom to tell her where I'm going." I said in excitement.

"No need to worry about that. My mom already called and asked if it was okay with your mom. My mom is gonna pick us up from here in a few minutes and then we are going to head out." Hayes explained.

Elizabeth pulled up to Taco Bell with a packed car. In the front seats it was Elizabeth driving and Johnny in the passenger seat. In there middle row it was Skylynn, Jake, and Nash. Hayes and I went to the back row of the car. We buckled up and started to go to the lake.
