Chapter 18

----Hayes pov----

As the car pulled out of the driveway and onto the street, I looked at Ryan standing in the grass, and I could tell she was already hurting by the tear she shed. It hurt to look at her knowing I won't see he for a while. I slumped down in the seat and starred at my phone waiting to see Ryan😸😻😻😘 pop up on the screen.

"Hayes, what's the matter? You've been silent the whole car ride." Elizabeth said.

"Mom, have you ever had to make work with a long distance relationship, even though one is just on a trip for a bit."

"Oh Hayes, if your talking about you and Ryan it will be fine. If you both love each other so much then you will be fine."

I nodded and went back to my quite state. I watched the world pass by and thought of the good times with Ryan. I soon arrived at the airport.

----Ryan's pov----

I walked into my house with puffy red eyes and grass on my butt from sitting on the ground. I had no desire on texting Hayes knowing he wouldn't have the time to talk. Instead my friend Marina was there to talk. She was in the neighborhood over and was my best friend in North Carolina, we'll other than Hayes.

"Mom, can Marina come over?" I said in between my breaths of cries. She came over and gave me a hug.

"Of course baby. I know how much it hurts having to have a boyfriend that you love so much leave for sometime."

About fifteen minutes later there was a knock on my door, and of course Marina was standing there. I jumped onto her and sobbed into her shoulder and she rubbed my back.

"Oh thanks Marina for coming over. I don't know what I would've done." I cried.

"I brought us Ben and Jerry's to go along with our netflix movie marathon." she said.

"Let's go upstairs. We need to discuss a few things." I said a bit low. We raced up the steps and sat on my bed. I grabbed the phish food ice cream and handed it to Marina, and then I grabbed the milk and cookies ice cream for myself.

"So, what's up? What is it that we couldn't discuss downstairs?" Marina whispered.

"One, you don't need to whisper. Two, it's about last night. After...Hayes and I got back from the lake we woke up in the car alone. We planned on doing things at the party, but it he said later. When we were alone in the car the things planned for the party happened, well in the car." I said nervously.

"Congrats Ry! I knew you had it in ya. But I have bad news. My grandmother is sick, like really sick, and my family needs to visit her." Marina said.

"Not you too." I cried "So now your both gonna be in Florida."

"I don't leave until next week, but I asked my mom and she said you can come with if you buy the plane ticket and food money."

"Yes!!! My mom will so say yes." I cheered. I was so happy too. I grabbed my phone and texted Hayes.

----Hayes pov----

I was sitting on the plane starting out the window while the rest of the people were boarding. My phone buzzed and I was delighted to see it was from Ryan!

Ryan😸😻😻😘- I'm coming to Florida in 2 weeks!

Looks like things are looking up. Everyone was on board and electronics were told to be turned off. I smiled knowing I would be holding Ryan in two weeks.
