I hate him, I love him//Jacob Sartorius

Emily's POV

"Please let me in" I say to the people in the back of the ambulance.

"You have to be somehow related to him to get in with us." They tell me. I'm gonna regret saying this right now.

"I'm his girlfriend please can I go in now?" Jacob better be grateful for that.

"Ok get in, he has to get to a hospital." I hop into the back and they shut the door. The people in the front then start to drive to the hospital. In 5 minutes were there.

"Can I have whoever was with Jacob at the time please come here for questioning?" I hear a police officer say while I was in the waiting room. I go up to him.

"I was with him." I tell him.

"Wait is your name Emily???" The officer asks.

"Um yea how'd u know......." I ask him, a little scared.

"I'm the officer that took care of that break in you guys had with your teacher and the other girl." He says. That makes more sense now.

"Officer James????" I ask.

"Yeaaaaa, so now to the point, what happened?" He asks.

"Well this is a long one." I tell him

"And I got time" he says sitting down. I sit down next to him.

"So Jacob cheated on me for god knows how long. Ever since then, he has trying to get back together with me. Following me around, getting me out of stuff, things like that. He has also been apologizing like crazy. This happened I think like about a month or 2 ago(where he cheated) and he has just started a couple days ago to get back together with me. So while I was walking home from school today, he was as usual following me. I stopped in the middle of the street which was so stupid of me and confronted him. I'm like what the hell do u want, you follow me and all this crap. So he's like you back. He then comes closer and I'm like I don't wanna get back together with you. He then pushes me. I thought he was bullying me again, yes I was dating my bully. I get up and scream what the hell was that and I notice his body on the floor. I see an Explorer driving off, license plate started with CNF, I didn't see any other numbers." I finish, with tears forming remembering what has happened the last couple months.

"Ok, thanks, I will tell my boss to have people start to look for the car." he says getting up. He then leaves. I see Jacobs parents walk in.  

"Mrs, and Mr. Sartorius, this is my fault I am so sorry, if I hadn't stopped, Jacob wouldn't have came up to me. If I forgave him the other day this wouldn't have happened." I say going up to them.

"Emily, this is not your fault, you would've gotten hit. And I'm not saying anything really but like its good you didn't forgive him sooner, he had to learn his lesson." Mrs. Sartorius tells me. 

"Family of Jacob Sartorius?" We hear a nurse say. 

"you guys should go, I will wait out here." I tell his parents. 

"What do you mean? You're our daughter." Mr. Sartorius says smiling. I smile back and walk with them to Jacob's room. 

"He is in a coma, he had a broken leg, broken arm. and a broken rib. It's nothing too serious, we will be able to fix it with a couple surgeries." the nurse says. She then leaves to give us time with Jacob.  We "talk" to him. I know he can hear me because of when I was in my come, I heard everything. I made sure to say that I forgave him for everything. 

A couple hours later

I was sitting at home watching Netflix and I hear my phone ring. 

"Hello?" 

"Emily?" 

"yea....." 

"Its Mrs. Sartorius, I just wanted to tell you that they caught who hit Jacob" 

"OMG who was it?"

"maddie, she said she was aiming for you but accidentally hit Jacob"

"oh, ok, I'm sorry again for Jacob." 

"Again, its not your fault."

"Ok, Mrs. Sartorius, I have to go, I will talk to you later." 

"Bye Emily. and please text me or call if you need anything. I know no one is home." 

"Thanks bye." 

I shut the phone and go to bed. This is gonna be a long couple of months.
