Emily's POV
"Well?" I asked Adam, as he walked back into the house.
"I told him to stay the hell away from you, and scared the shit out of him. I don't think he'll be bothering you for a while." he answered.
"Whatever,"
"Shut up Emily, you care," Bella says.
"I really don't anymore. If you told me this a few days ago yeah I would but now, I don't," I tell her. She shrugs.
"Whatever you say Em, whatever you say,"

J- What was the deal with your brother today?
I stared at my phone shocked, as usual when I get a text from Jacob.
E- I don't know and I honestly don't care. I don't even think we should be talking right now.
J- Why because of your brother?
E- No, because I don't wanna talk to you. I feel like you've ruined me
J- please, I got you where you are today
E- A mess with no trust for anyone anymore? Yea i have you to thank for that
J- I'm sorry, how many times do I have to say it for you to forgive me?
E- How many times do I forgive you and mess shit up?
I shut off my phone. Tears were slowly making their way down my face.
I can't take him anymore. All he does is play with my feelings. One minute he hates me, the next he loves me. It's all so confusing. He tries to make it better but makes everything worse.
"Is everything ok?" Grayson asks coming up from behind me.
"Yea, I'm fine," I answer. I've been holding on to that lie for too long. "Did Adam let you in?"
"Yea. Also you're not fine, you have have tear stains." he says point out the stains on my cheek.
"I love you, promise me you'll never do what Jacob did to me," I tell him, crying a little bit.
"I promise," he says, enveloping me into a bear hug. I hug him back, crying into his shirt.

This was such a short chapter for not updating for months
I'm actually going to end this in about 5 more chapters
There's gonna be an alternate ending because both ways I picture this ending are really cute and I can just leave it up to you guys to decide which ending you want
