I hate him, I love him//Jacob Sartorius

-Thirty Seven-

Emily's POV

It's been almost a week after Jacob woke up. I still go there everyday to see him. To be honest, it looks like he's been getting worse everyday. But the doctors say he's getting better.

"Hey," I say coming into the room. 

"Hey," he replies.

"Soooo, how's life?" I say trying to make conversation.

"Well despite the fact that I'm in a hospital barley being able to move, it's great" he says sarcastically. I let out a small laugh. The door then opened. 

"Jacobbb, are you ok????? Your parents just told me what happened, I'm so sorry, I meant to hit Emily so we could be together without her being in the way." Maddie says sounding faker than fake. 

"I'm right here." I say waving a hand.

"What's she doing here?" She whispers to Jacob.

"Um, I can hear you. And I'm seeing the guy who got hit by a car for me." I say. 

"Maddie, just leave, were done." Jacob finally says. 

"Your just saying that to make her happy right?" She whispers to Jacob again.

"I can still hear you. And no I think he means, you guys are over." I say. She looks at Jacob. He nods his head. She storms out, slamming the door.

"I am so happy you were here when she came," he tells me. I let out a small laugh again.

"I never got to thank you," I tell him quietly.

 "What for?" 

"I could've died if you didn't push me out of the way, you risked your life to save mine," 

"it was worth it." he says. I laugh. 

"Yea right, you were probably cursing the day I was born while you were in that coma.  Every time I came, you were probably cussing me out."  I say laughing.

"I really wasn't but think what you want" he laughed. We went the rest of the day talking until visiting hours were over. 

"Want me to bring you anything tomorrow?" I ask, getting ready to leave.

"Some real food, please. The stuff here tastes worse than the school's food." he says. I laughed.

"Ok, bye," I tell him walking out.

"Bye."

Ok yea that was cringey.

And short. 

And I know I said I won't update for a while but I got really bored.
