You have a crush.

You have a best friend.

You love them both.

But it gets complicated when your best friend has a crush on the one who is meant to be your one and only.

She goes on and on about him all day. She doesn't know you like him too, of course, but if you told her you would be putting your friendship at risk. So what do you do? You keep it quiet. You back off. You tell yourself every night you'll find someone else..

*2 years later*

"Ohmygod, stop!!" You squeal as your boyfriend teases you on the beach.

"No! Its funny!" He giggles back.

"How did I even end up with you ohmygod" You struggle to say while laughing hysterically.

His expression suddenly changes and his body becomes tense. His green eyes darken as he finds difficulty looking you in the eye.

"Y/n... Well. We need to talk."
You become sweaty and nervous. Assuming where this is going.
"Y/n you've been so amazing these last few years. You've taught me good things and bad. But, it doesn't feel right. I know you love y/c/n. And there's no point being with me if you don't truly love me. You belong with him."

"I.. I don't understand. I love you." You sob.

"Y/n, I'm sorry." He says as he gets up and leaves. Kissing your cheek one last time before walking away.

You fall to the ground. The sand adapting to your body as tears slowly escape your eyes, earning you a few stares.

*Later that night*

Besto❤: y/n we need to talk.

Y/n: What's up..?

Besto❤: I don't love y/c/n anymore. He doesn't feel like the one for me.

Y/n: oh. That's terrible I'm sorry. I broke up with y/e/bf(your ex boyfriend)

Besto❤: what?? Why?? What happened?

Y/n: He said he knew I love y/c/n and that I need to be with him..

Besto❤: do you...?

Y/n: yeah..

Besto❤: then why are you waiting ?? Get him!

Y/n: but..???1!1!2'

Besto❤: just go 😂😂✨

Y/n: Fine, I'll ask tomorrow.

Y/n: should I ask at the football match??

*At the football match*

The crowd is roaring in your ears. Everything had been planned out. Once the game ends, a sign will be displayed on the score board of you asking him out. Then you will stand up and look at him. It seems so perfect. You're desperate for him to say yes. And the fact you healed over y/e/bf so quickly meant you never loved him. (Oooo you savage)

The game had finished, and the sign is almost ready to be displayed.

Suddenly the teams are about to go off pitch, when your sign is deployed and y/c/n team mates stop him. He reads the sign carefully and searches for you in the crowd.

You stand up, your palms are as sweaty as a slippery eel, and you hart is beating at the speed of light.

He spots you and smiles. Providing you with a small nod and a heart with his hands, you know it's a yes. You jump about excitedly in the seats as he disappears off into the changing rooms.

I can say now that they did indeed, live happily ever after. Clichè. Nice.
