"She fell for it?"

Lauren sighed into the phone, with her head in her hand as her elbow rested on the table "Yeah but I think I went too far Dinah. She was fucking pissed!"

"Did she have that vein popping out of her neck" the Polynesian laughed.

"Yes. Oh god" Lauren grimaced, bringing her hand up to her chest that was beating beyond fast right now.

She heard Dinah's laughter through the phone "Oh, you done fucked up now"

"Oh no!" Lauren panicked a little "I'm calling her!"

"No! You already did it. When she gets here I'll make sure she doesn't stay too mad at you. Now all you have to do is your part" There was a pause before Dinah spoke again "She's here, she just knocked"

"Okay" Lauren sighed "Make sure my baby knows I love her. Please Dinah and-"

"Yeah, okay okay bye" Dinah quickly said and hung up. She stuffed her phone in her pocket and pulled the front door open, immediately Normani broke into a full blown sob and threw her arms around Dinah. "Oh no, what's wrong mani?" The Polynesian questioned acting oblivious to the situation.

Zendaya jumped up as well, full of fake concern to help the cause. She rubbed her hand over Normanis back as she sobbed into Dinah's chest.

Dinah guided them back after shutting the front door "Mani, talk to me what happened?"

"I-I j-just... I l-left h-her. I was so mad a-and I didn't want to leave, it just happened!" She cried "She just let me leave," her voice shrieked "She's be been so a-annoying lately and meaaan. She let me leave without saying any-anything"

"Calm down Mani," both Dinah and Zendaya cooed her.

"I don't think she loves me anymore," after the words escaped brown girls lips it was sort of like reality set in. After her and Lauren got to NewYork she never doubt Lauren's love for her. So to feel like this, it was scary.

"That's not true and you know that?" Zendaya spoke.

"Look at me," Dinah said pulling her away and causing her to look up in her eyes "Every couple has issues, no matter how long you've been together. No matter if she was your bestfriend before you guys dated. Nothing makes you two exempt from problems, every couple has them."

Normani nodded trying to understand but it was just too hard to. She couldn't wrap around why Lauren was being such a bitch to her over these last weeks, it hurt. She couldn't understand why Lauren just let her leave so easy after they both often asked that no matter how crazy things got to not let the other leave... to fight and make them stay. She couldn't understand why she has been gone for over an hour now and Lauren hadn't even picked up her phone to call. Not just to make her come back but to at least see if she was even okay.

"Did she call you?" Normani questioned, wiping her tears away.

Dinah shook her head "No," she lied.

A hurt smile formed over the brown girls face until it slowly twisted back into a pained face and the tears started to flow again.

Dinah looked over at Zendaya and Zendaya looked back just as confused on what to do. "It's okay manz, I promise you" is all she could say.

"Can I s-stay here for a while?"

"As long as you need"

The next morning rolled around and Dinah found herself on the phone whispering with a very worried Lauren. "She kept waking up, Lauren"
