Marinette walked up the stairs and watched Adrien as he moved a hamper of his clothes into the other room. She walked down the hall and watched him put them away in dressers or the small closet on the side of the room. "What're you doing?" He looked at her after closing a dresser door.
"This was a mistake, right? We need to keep things professional." He set clothes down on his bed and put them on hangers then hung them up in the small closet.
"Adrien, why were you listening?" Marinette rubbed her arm with her hand.
"Because I wanted to ask you about those letters Marinette. Why would they ask you about Emma's condition or ask if she has shown any signs of destructiveness since she came? Is it because she's like me and wants to hurt everyone! Right?! She runs away right!" Adrien started to shout and Marinette bit her lip.
"Adrien no. You don't hurt anyone and, I'm still angry at you for still turning and running but I kind of forgive-"
"Kind of isn't okay with me Marinette! I want you to forgive me and I want you to love me again but that spark is gone and I will never see it again like how when I find another job and move out of this house when Emma gets to big for me to take care I will never see her or you again!"
"Adrien, please don't yell." Her blood was boiling because his was.
"I know you don't love me anymore Marinette-"
"Then you don't know anything!" Tears streamed down her face as the words left his mouth so willingly. "I have loved you and I hated myself for loving you because you left me when I was dying! Dying! I was lying at the bottom of those stairs dying with a baby inside me that you wanted no part of!"
"I wanted her but I was young and reckless! I sure as hell couldn't take care of a child right when I was a child! I sure as fucking hell couldn't take care of you right and look where that fucking left me!" Tears streamed down his face like waterfalls on cliffs.

Marinette panted and looked up at Adrien. She shot her head back as she dug her nails into his shoulders. She moaned as beads of sweat trickled down her body. Their bodies sticked to each other like glue as he pulled out and collapsed next to her. She looked up at the ceiling and he looked over at her. She hid her face behind her hands and shook her head. "Why do all of our arguments lead to this." She shook her head and he laughed.
"I like it as long as this is the only way you end your arguments with me and no one else." Adrien laughed and Marinette hit his arm. He laughed again and she glared at him and growled.
"This isn't funny! I don't like ending arguments like this with you!" She yelled and he stopped laughing and sighed. "Why can't we end things normally!" He looked up at the ceiling.
"Well, we're not normal. We're superhero exes who are basically fuck buddies with a daughter." He laughed lightly and Marinette bit her lip.
"I don't want to be that. I want to be together, married, with a daughter and are superheroes." She blushed and he shot his head to look at her. He held her hand and gently kissed her knuckles.
"I want that too," he lied down and rested his head on his arms. "And we should get married soon." He laughed dryly.
"Why would you say that?" Marinette lifted a brow.
"We uh, didn't use protection." Marinette gulped as she bunched up the blanket over her her stomach with her hand.
