Adrien and Angel listened in behind the shut office doors as Nathanael and Marinette bickered about Angel. "She is not-"
"She is Nathanael! I showed you the DNA test and I showed you her! That should be enough information for you to believe she is your child!" Marinette erupted at him, done with this argument. It was like the ones she had with Adrien while Emma was being made in her. "Now, do you want to keep playing this stupid game, work or find a way for both of us to take care of her?"
He leaned down in his chair, running his hand through his bangs and sighing, "We'll need to speak with a judge on the last one so let's just work."
"I'll get my assistant to get a judge in." Adrien took that as his cue to leave as Marinette would sometimes call Adrien her assistant instead of husband if she was in a working mode.

"I grant that Nathanael Kurtberg will have full custody of Angel Skylar Agreste. Marinette Agreste will not be allowed contact with her at any age of time. Case dis-"
"No!" Marinette stood up as Nathanael did too. That's not what wanted at all. "We wanted a every week new parent thing. Not a full custody battle."
"Well seeing as Angel is too young to remember all of this, and too young in general we need to give her a permanent home, Mrs.Agreste. And seeing as you have three children already under your belt, taking one out won't be that big of a hassle." The judge spoke.
"No," Nathanael growled. "I want to see my daughter but only have half custody of her. Her mother deserves her as much as I do and people get divorces while the child is less then a year old and get half custody," he argued. His mother was a custody lawyer and he sometimes had to come to work with her. He payed a little to close attention. "You're only doing this to get more money out of both of us."
"Why would you say that Mr.Kurtzberg?"
"Because we're both rich and have the money to spend and, I looked you up before we even started and saw that you're a judge that just takes money away from the riches families in Paris. So why don't you actually sort out a custody plan for both of us that we can agree on and not have to pay you millions on for something as important as a child's future." Nathanael glared up at him as he sat down.
After the judge ruled out a custody plan, Marinette would get Angel for half a year, Nathanel would get Angel for half a year. The dates didn't matter as long as she did see each parent for half a year. Marinette handed Nathanael the bag of Angels clothes as he buckled her into his car. "Her schedule," he studied as Mairnette buckled Angel in, properly. "She's going to be homeschooled like Louis is-"
"No," Nathanael laughed. "I'll enroll her in preschool when I get back to my house so you might want to do the same for Louis." Marinette rolled her eyes and sighed.
"Fine I will just make sure she goes to sleep on time and she can only fall asleep if you read to her." Nathanael nodded as he put the schedule on his passenger side seat.
Marinette started to tear up. "You'll see her in a month, calm down." Nathanael patted her shoulder.
"Yeah, I know." She sighed, kissed Angel goodbye then got in her car and drove off while Nathanael drove off with Angel.
