Adrien snuck into Emma's room on his hands and knees to the side of her bed. He gently sat up and whispered her name. She fluttered her eyes open and smiled at Adrien and wrapped her arms around him. He smiled and hugged her back. "It's my birthday papa!" Emma exclaimed and he laughed and swung her around.

"Really?" She nodded as he put her down on his hip. "How old are you now?" He asked as he walked into her closet and found her a nice blue dress with grey shoes to wear.

"Five!" She smiled. He smiled back and slid the clothes on her body after taking off her pajamas. "I hope Ladybug and Chat Noir say hi!" She smiled.

"I bet they will," Marinette giggled as she walked into the room. She brushed out Emma's hair and then kissed her cheek. "Happy birthday my moonbeam." She smiled and Emma giggled.

"Thank you mama!" Emma smiled and hugged her mother. Marinette smiled and picked her up and carried her downstairs to the kitchen. She made breakfast and fed everyone.

"Emma, me and Adrien have to tell you something," Emma looked at the adults and Marinette bit her lip. "We're going to try again and be together."

"Okay mama!" Emma smiled and looked at Adrien. "Papa! She loves you!" Emma smiled at Adrien then covered her mother and almost started crying.

"Emma it's okay to say it. I told her," Emma smiled and continued to eat. Marinette got her in the car and dropped her off at school then came back to the house and Adrien looked at her as she entered. "Something wrong?" He continued to fold laundry.

"I feel like us, is a mistake. Like I shouldn't try again with you." She crossed her arms and Adrien nodded.

"I understand that. But I will always come running back to you." He smirked and booped her nose. She rolled her eyes and walked into her office and got to work. She bit her lip as she worked, trying to figure out why she gave him a second chance. Why did she. She hated him a few months ago and now, why did she give him a second chance.

There was a knock on her door but she didn't bother to look up. "Come in." She finished the report and went onto the next one.

"Girl," no. "Why have you been ignoring us?" She looked up at her best friend and saw Nino with her. Alya crossed her arms and Marinette looked down and kept working.

"I've been busy with work." She answered and worked on another report then a design then her set up for her fashion show.

"No you haven't. You always make time for us," Nino crossed his arms and Marinette bit her lip and looked at her friends. "Adrien answered the door. What aren't you telling us?"

"Marinette," she looked at Adrien, or, glared. "I keep meaning to give you these." He threw a pile of letters on her desk that were held together then walked off to put Emma's clothes away that decorated his shoulders and arms.

Alya looked at the letters and Marinette quickly moved them into her desk. "What are you hiding from us?" Alya was so close to crying.

"F-Fine. I-I-I-I'll tell you," Marinette bit her lip. "I have a daughter, and her name is Emma. Adrien was, is, her nanny, I don't know anymore but he's her father too and he wants to try again with me so I'm letting it happen and I feel like let letting all of this into my life is a big mistake!" She broke into tears and held her hands to her forehead, bunching up her hair as tears streamed down her face and landed on the paperwork she needed to get done. "I feel like letting him and a part of him back into my life was a mistake!" She hiccuped and Alya undid her arms and rubbed Marinette back. nino did the same.

Adrien sighed as he walked to their room and moved his things back into his own room. He knew their spark was somewhere but now, it wasn't with them. If she feels like this is all a mistake, then it most likely is. She is always right.
