˚ºFour Years and Six Months Laterº˚
Angel slammed the door to the room. Louis banged on it, the ten year old boy yelling at his twin sister to open the door. Adrien and Marinette watched from the hall as Emma stood behind Louis, banging harder then him. Angel began to cry as the party began to start downstairs, everyone asking where the two birthday people were. "Angel," Louis heard her cries against the doors. "Angel please open the door." The late summer air blowing into the house from all the open windows.
"N-No..." Her voice quivered.
"Can you tell us what's wrong?" Emma asked.
Angel opened the door, her straightened hair ruined and her eyes pink. "He's not here," She wiped her cheeks. "Nathanaels not here." She gave up on calling him Dad. He hadn't to came to her birthday in four years, hell, she hadn't seen him in five.
"Ang," Louis hugged her. "He's not worth seeing. We're your family. Not him," they knew she was a half sister but didn't care. They loved her. He let go and wiped her cheeks, smiled at her while cupping her cheeks. "Emma fix her hair, I'll get you something better to wear." Emma nodded and pushed her sister into the bathroom and fixed her hair.

Angel looked up at Louis on stage as he beautifully played the cello solo. She smiled as he finished, stood up and bowed. She stood up and clapped and hollered. He embarrassingly blushed as he walked off stage. After the concert, of him and three other children, all playing different instruments but at least playing two. Louis played the cello, piano, guitar and clarinet. Angel crushed him in a hug and he laughed and hugged her back.
"You did great Loui!" She yelled as other parents yelled at the children for doing so badly. He let go and shook his head.
"No I didn't. I missed a measure on the guitar, messed up notes on the piano and couldn't reach some on the clarinet and-"
"You tried. That's all that matters," Adrien laughed and ruffled his hair. "Now, what you want little man? Ice cream, Chinese food or something else?" Adrien grabbed the cello case while Marinette took the guitar one, Emma with the clarinet case.
Louis bit his lip and thought about it, looking at his sisters who shrugged their shoulders. He looked up at Adrien. "Steakhouse." The adults laughed and nodded, driving to a steakhouse and sitting down and eating. Louis went on about how all the adults in the back would have their children practice and would slap their knuckles if they got a note wrong.
"That's horrible," Marinette bit the inside of her cheek. "Louis," he looked up at her. "No matter what other say, as long as you think you're doing okay, keep doing it. Angel, Emma," they looked up at her while chewing. "Do that as well."
"Okay Mama!" They all agreed on through muffled food in their mouth. When they got home the two twins walked to their room and got dressed. Louis got in his bed and waited for Angel to get in hers. She stood in the mirror in her closet, her shirt in hand as she looked at the curve of her chest start to form. She bit the inside of her cheek and furrowed her brows. She was only eleven. This didn't happen to Emma until she was twelve.
"Angel!" Louis yelled. She looked to her door, the light in her closet peaking into the room. "Hurry up! We're going school shopping in the morning!" She quickly slid on her shirt and ran to her bed, setting a mental note to ask Emma about what was happening in the morning.
