Simon and I were busy in one of the storage rooms organizing some things when Sally walks over towards us, greeting Simon. I whispered to him "Don't trust her." I didn't care if he didn't respond. I just wanted him to know that.

"Hi" she said to Simon. I continued completing my task, ignoring her presence but eavesdropping on the conversation.

"Hi."

"Listen, I'm sorry I had to leave early yesterday."

"It's fine."

"You...you've got dirt on your face." The stillness that followed obviously meant that she was wiping it off, another way she made it seem like she cared about him. "I'll see you later." It was silent and just as I was getting up to talk some sense into Simon, Curtis came in, smiling at him, saying "No way."

"What?"

He walked closer. "You and her?"

"What are you talking about?" I hated how oblivious he could be.

"I'm talkin' about," he reenacted how Sally looked when she touched Simon's face. It was hilarious actually.

"Don't tell the others. Don't tell Nathan!"

"I won't tell that prick anything...A fit, older woman. Heavy."

"Curtis, thanks." Curtis responded with a nod and a smile.

"You two are disgusting" I added as he walked away, still smiling at what he just saw. "Simon, I know you don't believe me but you have to trust me when I say that-"

"You're jealous."

"Jealous of who? Her? Of course not."

"You're jealous because she's starting to spend more time with me."

"I'm not jealous at all. I'm just trying to help you see-"

"Just stay out of it. Please." With that, he walked away, leaving me standing alone in the multi-purpose room, beside the open gate of the storage room. That was first time he was actually assertive about something. It pained me to see him be so naive. I wasn't willing to let it get so far as me to telling him "I told you so". I was going to do whatever it takes to keep her from getting any closer to Simon. Any closer to the truth about what happened to Tony. I lost my train of thought when I heard banging in the hallway which was safe to assume it was Nathan doing it. When I looked out of the window, I see Nathan humping the vending machine and punching it to release a drink. It was pretty pitiful to see how cheap he really was. I walked out of the room and shouted "Can you not do that?!"

"Oh hi." He hit it one last time and a soda can fell into the dispenser.

Then Kelly walked into the hallway from the locker room. "Is that your tea?"

"Starter. Main course. Dessert" he said, pointing to each snack. "And a nice refreshing beverage to wash it down."

"You can't live on that shit." I told him. "You're gonna get sick."

"Why don't you come around my house and I'll cook you dinner?" Kelly suggested.

"What are you cooking?"

"Chicken nuggets."

"Oh, I didn't realize you were a trained chef."

"Do you wanna come or not?"

"Are you asking me 'round for sex?"

"Oh for god's sake."

Simon came walking out of the locker room the minute Kelly began walking away. "She's cooking me 'tea' man!" Nathan said to Simon. "I think I'm in there!" I couldn't deal with anything that was happening at that moment. Simon wouldn't listen to me. Nathan was going to Kelly's house. Niamh was hanging out with Rudy. Curtis and Alisha were inseparable. And then there was me.
